Hello Trees! Ha ha ha, Sharon and I have been wickedly roadtripping and having some experiences along the way, so not much time to find net access. This concert was a quickie! They played for 30 mins., which is just "Never Enough". Marty, Big Al, Tracii and Chad Rocked Rockfest!! I met quite a few fans of L.A. Guns who have NOW become Marty Casey fans!!  Absolutely Thrilling and Engaging!!! OMG, Marty climbed the scaffolding here. Tried to get a set list but other people were snagging them left and right. Favorite songs, Ballad of Jayne  and Rip and Tear!  More review later with pics, I just hope I can get this post to take.  |

This was an Awesome concert! Love the sounds that Marty makes and than Tracii playing his guitar and then Marty sings a sound and then Tracii plays a sound, That was very cool! The sun was up and setting behind the stage, so it didn't make for great picture taking at least for me it didn't, but it did make an beautiful backdrop to a rockin' concert! 30 mins, just wasn't enough...Thank goodness this was only the 2nd concert and we had one more to go.  At this point, was seriously contemplating that Texarkana show, being that it does have Tex in the name.  Pics will follow.

Saturday, July 12th noon 'On the road again' - a true Texas classic. We did have a few issues with our GPS girl, but after threee or four circles we finally found our way to the gate at the South Texas Rockfest. Marty had told me they would go on at 8:30p and by 8:15p we were at the front of the stage waiting. I met a friend I had made on Myspace who knew Marty from Rockstar but had never had the priveledge of seeing him perform live. I had told her eariler 'get ready'. The sun was going down when they began, and it was beautiful, but it made picture quality a bit iffy. The set was short, 30 minutes, but Marty made the most of every second. He climbed a girder, which I hadn't seen him do in a very long time. I of course, holding my breath and praying with every step, continued to snap pictures. Following the show my new friend came directly over to me, her face said it all. She asked me was he always like that, I told her, 'every f....ing show!' Marty came to the gate for a very short time then was rushed off. We also spoke to a couple, who had been standing by Rachael, that were just blown away by the show. We made sure to give them info on how to find MC.com. Rachael and I were having such a great time, we decided to just walk around for a while, listen to the music and maybe get something to eat & drink. We had already made the decision eariler to leave by eleven in order to make it to Houston in time to rest up for Sunday's show at the Meridan. Oh yeah, while I was waiting for Rachael to get some Kettle corn guess who walked up with a big hug for me, yeah, it was Marty. Life is good!
