Hey all Marty and Lovehammer fans, I finally got my Lovehammers tattoo.  I emailed a photo of it to Cindy and hopefully you will all be able to see it soon. Sorry but I don't know how to upload photos here. I was in L.A. on business and went to "Art and Soul" tattoos, Adam Kilss was my artist. I brought in an example but he drew up the final tattoo by hand himself. He is an awesome artist. Its on my left ankle on the outside. A Tribal Heart in black with LH in the center in red. I absolutely love it and already have received many compliments. Everybody who sees it wants to know what the LH stands ha ha, so I go into my Lovehammers speil and tell them how awesome a band they are and how much I love them. I'm a walking promo for Lovehammers. If anycan send me step by step instructions on how to post the photo into my message I will. Otherwise you'll have to wait for Cindy to do it. I met you at the Vancouver concert, my husband was in line with you to buy Lovehammer merchandise. You told me he was reaching in your pockets! And then we were outside together waiting for the band.
Anyways... your tattoo rocks!!!!!!!!!

Isa, There was pain involved but my tattoo artist (who by the way was such a hunk) was as gentle as he could be. He did the outline first and then we took a smoke break. Afterwards he filled it in. It took 2 hours total and at times I couldn't control my foot from twitching. It would get to the point where I thought I couldn't stand it anymore and then he would stop for a few seconds and move on. All I could think of was Marty and Lovehammers and how my tattoo was a tribute to them. Thanks for the complements. |

raynedove, thanks for the info about the pain. I have no tattoos which hubby would never want me to get anyway but I like to watch Miami Ink and some of those people do look like they are in some kind of pain. I was joking with hubby the other day about getting a Lovehammers tattoo, he had no comment. LOL.. I am definitely needle phobic and dislike pain tremendously, have to stick to my nonpermanent tattoos. But your tattoo does look real sharp!

Mine only took about 15 minutes. He told me it would hurt and we could take a break if I needed it, but it was over before I knew it. Plus I have a real high tolerance for pain. ;D
