I found a torrent of this show, and it seemed like kind of a rip off that they only got to play 7 songs. I thought LAG was headlining this tour??? I didn't feel ripped off....however I WAS ready for Bang Tango to get off the stage and let L.A. Guns start their set. Bang Tango played on and on and on....they wouldn't stop. Although I wasn't impressed with them I *did* enjoy Faster Pussycat. LAG or Faster Pussycat isn't necessarily headlining the tour. The tour had already been planned by Faster Pussycat and then it was decided to make it a tour that included several groups. More fun & rock for everybody!

Thanks for posting the setlist, Amy. I really didn't know any of the songs except for that one... Good times though...I enjoyed the show even though it was over so fast. Every time that Bang Tango dude would go, "WE GOIN PLAY ONE MO! AW YEAH!" I knew that LAG's time was getting shorter and shorter. If it were up to me, Faster Pussycat would have been forced to skip their show in order to learn proper makeup application by that Bare Minerals lady from QVC. I really wanted to hear some of the new stuff Marty has written with LA Guns, but I guess I'll have to wait for next time. Even though I'm not a huge fan of the old LAG songs, I guess what I really appreciated was the fact that they're not up there putting on some gimmicky show. Props to all of them for not trying to be Axl Rose reincarnated* or some ridiculous overweight goth clowns. Although at times I do think Tracii could benefit from a t-shirt slightly larger than the size he wore in the 80's. I'm glad I made the trip...I always love careening driving through the mountains of NC and TN. And I've never gotten to hang out with Cindy & Amy & rockfan all that much before so that was nice too. Oh and that Marty guy...he's all right. I think it's hysterical that a couple weeks ago I said that this new venue looked like an Applebee's...and what do you know that's exactly what's in front of the place and where we end up at dinnertime. I guess I'm just glad we didn't have to have dinner at a half-demolished convenience store. [/IMG] *Yes, I know Axl Rose isn't dead. Might as well be though, unfortunately. I think there's a better chance that Chinese Democracy will be sung by Elvis, Jim Morrison and Tupac. Hahahaha....

[/IMG]
I was a fan back in the GUNS' heyday, but not a rabid, foam at the mouth fan. I had a couple of CD's and wish I knew now what I did with them. I never saw them live, so can only compare this weekend's show to a CD. Obviously I'm biased, but I prefer Marty's voice to the other singer. It's a lower range and sounds better with the songs. I'm happy they played Never Enough but would have also liked to have heard Kiss My Love Goodbye. Too bad the Bang Tango dude was more concerned with fans buying him shots rather than the time on stage. Oh well....that just means we need to go to another show. Hey....Applebee's was pretty good! Good food and good conversation. At least it wasn't a moldy old basement type dive. ;D

dimeadozen.org has the torrent. You have to sign up if you're not already registered, which can be an ordeal because they only let so many people sign up. You may have to try a few times. The LAG performance is really not that great of quality, but I suppose if you attended the show, it might be cool to relive it. I can't seem to get on there.

I tried to get some videos for rockfan, but wasn't very successful. She was up front and I stayed at the table. All you can see are the backs of heads. Sorry!
