Check out Dino's post on LH.com about contacting radio stations, management etc. He wants us to keep requesting but be cool and polite.

I checked it out today too. He talks about being positive and how Epic has been great to them. It is just hard to see how other bands can go from non-existance to superstar in a matter of hours - not based on talent but purely on marketing. So why is it that LH don't seem to have that kind of support from their company? We need to hear them on the radio and see a video to get others to know who they are, right? If the footage from the Metro for the Trees video wasn't good, record it again -they play Trees at every show. I am patient and I imagine that LH didn't blindly sign a contract with Epic because they were the first ones to offer. I just want to hear my guys on the radio, man!

I believe Dino when he says that Epic has been great. Our guys are not a bunch of starry-eyed newbies. They've been around a while and are all pretty smart guys. Right now, especially post-Grammys, there's a lot of buzz about other artists. If Epic were to really push and promote Lh right now, it would all just get lost in the shuffle.
Epic has been working with Lh. Nader (he posts at the Lh board) works for Epic and has been doing some Epic-sponsored Street Teaming at Lh concerts and at other rock concerts. Epic reps have checked out Lh live in concert. Right now, I guess they're monitoring Lh, finding out what kind of fan support and album sales they have on their own.
"Trees" is getting played on radio stations. (Check out the radio contact thread. Each station that is playing "Trees" has a little tree pic by it.) It's going to take time to get Lh to the top where they belong. I know a lot of acts seem like they make it "over night," but that really doesn't happen to anyone. It just seems like that to us.
So, basically, keep Spreading the LOVE in any way you can.
Call radio stations and request "Trees" very politely. Called-in requests mean more than e-mail requests. If a DJ is negative, be positive and say, "Thanks anyway." If a DJ is very receptive and helpful, definitely say thanks.
Put up flyers, and volunteer to Street Team at local concerts (even non-Lh ones) and at colleges.
It's like Marty sings..."Persistence. Resistance. One Hammerhead can make a difference." Ok, it wasn't exactly like that, but you get my point! ;D

Ok, another idea to spread the love. . . Go to the LH.com site, go to the mediaplayer, and you can email the "Trees" link to your local radio station. This way, they can hear for themselves what a kickass band this is and can request CD service from Epic records. I live way out here on the west coast and my radio station LOVED the song -OF COURSE- and has requested service. Last I heard from them, no response, but hopefully they will hear from Epic soon.
