To go along with the new site, we developed a new skin for the board. I hope you all like the new look of the message board. We rearranged the categories and boards, trying to tidy up. We know the message board is more than just a place to chat; it's a community. We hope you enjoy it! Please note that the board is best viewed in either FireFox Web Browser or Internet Explorer. You can get Firefox from GetFirefox.com and Internet Explorer from Microsoft.com. In the spirit of giving credit where credit is due... The Marty photographs for the board were from Kimberlee Millers' Roxy shoot. You can see all of those photographs in the Pix page at MC.org. You can visit Kimberlee's site at KimberleeMiller.com. The new icons, such as our mod stars and members rank notes, are from FamFamFam.com, and are used with the creator's permission. He offers really cute icons free of charge. Can't beat that, huh? Love the pics in the background and new icons - have one concern though -- these old eyes are finding it hard to see the blue print navigation links on the black background - perhaps y'all could choose a brighter color??
Great job to everybody involved --- it is fun checking out all the new stuff!!

Hi, CJ. Just before you posted, I had already changed the link colors to a brighter blue. I can't go any brighter without making the links that appear on the rest of the board in the gray section hard to read.  The only other option is to remove the background and have a plain gray background. We're trying to have some continuity between the site and the board. |

I just added a code that let me change the color of the nav links only. Now they're gray. Is that better? Easier to see?

yes - that really helps - I had noticed the brighter blue - and that it was easier to see than the day before -

Question, when you look at the pics, says click thumbnail to view pic larger. I do that, it gets to be about 2X3 inches. Is that the largest it can get? *wink* I love those pics!!!!

Just in case anyone else out there is s l ow like me  I want to share that I found the Marty "talking" pic on the new site tonight!   I thought is was gone forever and I so missed my daily 'chat' with Marty. This is the little picture on the front page of previous site showing Marty in a long sleeved black striped t-shirt. Click on it and Marty would say "Hi, I'm Marty Casey and you've just entered Marty Casey .org." And then I would say "hi Marty" and our 'conversation would go from there.  This was a big part of my day - it's what got me going in the morning, caffeine has no effect on me. So, it's on the FANZ page at the bottom under archives. Big props to Cindy, Amy and Marty for making it accessible. You guys |

I cannot get over what a fantastic job you have done with this site. I guess it was over a year ago when I belonged here and boy was it different. You gals were gung ho and now it is wonderful how you have made such a professional site. I love it. I used to belong to several Marty sites and this one and one other were my Marty homes.
I am soooo glad to be back and again , I say; THIS SITE IS AWESOME.
