Recorded by Sexgunsandrockandroll and posted on YouTube with this description: "Funny ass clip of Marty Casey and Chad Stewart of L.A. Guns singing Jane's Addiction Jane Says and Hit Me Baby One More Time from Britney Spears unplugged at a Rock The Bayou after-party Saturday August 30 at the Meridian in Houston." IT'S HILARIOUS!!!! (The sound and pic quality aren't great, and there may be some "naughty words", kinda hard to tell.)

Oh my...I was hoping that wouldn't make it on the internet! That set...uh, how can I put this nicely... It was proof that two of the most talented people I know can um, kinda be a trainwreck when there's enough alcohol involved... lol And before anyone jumps my @$$ about this reply... I'm just being honest. It was embarrassing in a funny way, and the whole crowd had a good time with it. It was not, in the least, a scheduled set for either Chad or Marty. If it was, I'm positive that both of them would have been MUCH more sober. It kinda reminded me of what happens when I do a dozen shots of tequila at a karaoke bar... Their scheduled performance at the Meridian the next night was MUCH MUCH better!!!

Ah, don't worry, Lee--I thought it was great that they got to cut up and have a little fun. They've worked so hard on this tour, playing nearly every night, and Chad playing in TWO bands! They deserved to let loose. It was really sweet to see how much they enjoy each other's company and the fun of music, even when they don't have to be spending that time together, or performing yet again. It just shows what good guys they are, to want to hang out and have fun with the fans, while even giving still more to them. They don't have to do that, but they do, and it's heartwarming. We've all either been to afterparties, or know what they are, so it's all cool.

I have to agree with Nancy here... the band did have a hectic tour schedule and it is great to see them ( Marty and Chad) just going out and having some fun. Nothing wrong with that at all in my book. With liquor... or without... they just look like they are having a good time. That isn't a bad thing to see ever
