I keep reading these boards, you hammerheads are hilarious! Isn't it funny that 3 years ago, if I had seen LH in concert I think I would've been crazy traveling all over the US to see them again and again spending all kinds of money to do it. But now that I have 20 month old Twins, I just feel like giving Marty & gang some soft blankets for the bus and a good lasagna to eat! I get the impression that some of you out there feel the same "mommy" way about them (in the best sense of the word, of course), and I just think that's hysterical. Mind you, Marty, gang and I are all the SAME age (and I have TWO more tattoos than Marty has) so I still rock out everyday, I just have two little ones rocking along with me now...

I can`t believe I feel this way about a band again, I have 3 kids and they are all little Hammerheads. Hopefully when they are a bit older I can go crazy travelling to LH concerts with them.

Well, my maternal feelings are double edged. Yes, want to cook them a homecooked meal, then make them dessert. But then...I want to ask Marty......Who's your mommy? Then...well, you get the picture

Yeah it was terrible when I left for the show the other night, my son was so upset. He is 4 and wanted to go so bad. He said well Mama I like Marty Casey too, why can't I go? Oh it was so sad. But I needed mommy time!!

[glow=red,2,300][/glow] My kids went with me to the concert this past Tuesday. Marty was so hot! I couldn't contain myself and neither could my teenage girls. They are major Hammerheads now and I love it. They told Marty at autographs that they were so glad that I "made them" sit down and watch some "cool guy singing Britney Spears on Rock Star." It was awesome!!!!

pdhva: Your story totally reminded me of myself a few months ago...but then I saw Marty in his White pants and I lost all sense of reason. Stiletto: Are you an LH Mommy too? ;D I thought this thread was going to be a support group for Mommies who spend too much time on here while our toddlers run amuck. Does anyone know how to get blue crayon off of wooden stairs, the bathroom sink, the cordless phone, my 4th graders homework, etc etc etc

My oldest is a 23 year-old son whose more into Eminem and rap. My two daughters are almost 13 (this month on the 26th) and 15. They LOOOOOOOOVE Marty and the Lovehammers. Now this is coming from two very discriminatory (spelled right?) music connoisseurs who are into Nine Inch Nails, Greenday, Nirvana, Motley Crue, Korn, tons more........In fact, they dragged me to a Korn concert last night..........They are so looking forward to the Lovehammers coming back to Oregon. They couldn't attend the last shows because it was in a casino and they weren't old enough.

I took my 14 yr. old to the Arragon on his birthday and my 17 yr. old to N.Y. ( which my friends think I'm nuts because the LHs are from here!) and my husband keeps asking me who the hell is that guy on the computer. But in a way I have always been this way. My kids would tell me to turn down the radio that they couldn't hear the TV. Also I sort of started the neighborhood kids playing guitars and drums. When my 17 yr. old was in 3rd grade, he started guitar lessons. He began giving me a hard time to go to lessons because he wanted to hang with his buds instead. I talked the kids into playing guitar and they started taking lessons. Soon I had a drum set in my front room ( now in the garage) and my sons guitar teacher came to the house (those from Chicago might have heard of him, Keven Buck from The Blizard Of Oz Band, he was phenominal, he won the Chicagos LOOP radio stations guitar fantasy land contest 2 yrs. ago- which I talked him into entering). Now after all those years there must be at least 20 - 17yr. olds that play guitar and drums that have formed this band or that band.

and I thought this thread was going to be a tribute to the women who raised the Hammers, i.e. their actual mommies! Now those are 3 women who rock!

I want to know if there are any future mommies of little Martys out there. Anyone pregnant and planning to name her little one Marty (Marti for a girl) or Martin or Marty Casey or just Casey in honor of Our Guy?
