Words cannot express how excited I am . I barely slept last night when I found out . You know , I am finally going to see Marty in person , experiencing who he is on that stage , and hopefully , finally getting to talk with him . I let some people know about the show and they are psyched ! These people have also been with Marty since Rockstar , loved Lovehammers, know who L.A.Guns are and are looking forward to this .
I hope I can be of assistance somehow in promoting the show , etc . His coming here means so much since it is hard for me to travel outside the country .THIS IS FABULOUS !!!

I saw on the Guns site that they are playing the Cabin Fever Rockfest . I am curious if it will be held outdoors on the Commons , or inside at the Halifax Forum , or the Metro Center . I googled it and a lot of bands are going to be playing . I spread the word and there are Marty Casey fans of Rockstar waiting to see him . Lovehammers fans from here waiting to see him , and LAGuns fans here who are looking forward to seeing him with the band .. This is going to be one " ROCKIN' TIME" !  |

The Cabin Fever site off of Google does not announce the Myspace list yet but has stated this list : Deep Purple , Blue Oyster Cult , REO Speedwagon , Foghat , White Lion , Ace Frehley , Pink Floyd Laser Spectacular , and more .....
I will keep watch on this and will get the phone number for the forum and post it in case anyone wants to call . I so hope that anyone with a passport will come to support Marty and for a lot of great music all under one roof .
I also have a friend here who is in the business and she is also keeping an eye on things . We both know they have people looking after things , but she is willing to be a go-to person for Marty and the guys if they would like ,. She is a member of Music Nova Scotia and gave me her email to give them if they would like to talk with her .
Any ideas on who I should mention this too ?

Hi feather ! It is never to late to hear from you ! I miss you .
Morris ......a Haligonian ....Awesome ! Now you know you HAVE to come back for this , don't you . Marty needs some familiar faces there . He has only seen my mug from my profile pic so I doubt he will actually recognize me . I don't have a decent camera . All I have is the one on my cell phone and it doesn't take good shots unless they are close up .
I would like a hug :-) and one pic for a memory will be enough . I want to enjoy the show . So I'm hoping some great photographers around here will show up ( hint .hint) .
Q-104 announced it this morning and are giving away tickets . Those go on sale this Saturday . General Admission is $ 59.50 . There are also VIP tickets ( probably what is being given away ). I'm going to try for it , can't hurt ! Don't know how much those are . The Rockfest is for two days people . LAGUNS play Friday and Faster Pussycat play Saturday .
Hurry up May !!!

Well.....guess I won't get to meet Marty after all . VIP tickets for one day are $ 259.50 plus fees , and they are limited . You have to have one to be upfront and to meet anybody . So no pic , or hug . This sucks big time . I waited three years ..... sigh :-(

Hi Del . It would be nice if it was a day pass : 110.00 . It doesn't get you up close to the stage but I think it covers meeting the guys . I can afford the 59.50 myself . It wouldn't be a problem if I was back to work , but I am on medical leave and that only pays once a month and I barely have spending money after bills and groceries get taken care of .
I could maybe afford the pass but it would take me until January to get one . They probably will be gone by then . Sorry people , but I needed to vent a little bit . It meant so much to me to be able to finally meet Marty . Oh well , guess it's not meant to be .
