Given your experience and knowledge of the music industry, I was wondering if you could share some insight on who typically decides the order that the songs end up in on an album. Is it known before the album is cut which song(s) will likely be released as a single and are those songs strategically placed? Does the recording artist decide the order or the record label? And for those artists that are just doing it all themselves, is song order random or a thought through process trying to accomplish some goal? I look forward to hearing your insights and experiences. And I am truly looking forward to the release of the new L.A. Guns album next year!
