L.A. Guns is listed as the opening act for Ratt this Sunday, Dec. 28 at the House of Blues in San Diego. Will Marty be with them? Does anyone know? It will make my day if he is!

Hello  I arrived early at the Brixton. Actually I was really early... came about 7:00 pm and had to laugh at myself for totally not timing my arrival at the show correctly. I thought that traffic would have been worse... but, it wasn't. The first two opening bands were really cool, and I would recommend that you check them out. Swift Kick and Obsidian!!! Obsidian though gave a really impressive performance  I saw many familiar faces... and friends that I missed. Met a few new people that were awesome. Now or the main act.... LA Guns.... What can I say? Last nights show kicked a**... we even were treated to a NEW song!!! They stated that it was going to be the bands new reality show theme song and that we will be sick of it... ah... nope, I don't think so... awesome song and an awesome band!!!! And yes... I did say the new song for the reality show. Which I believe they stated will not be using the bands name... someone correct me if I heard that part wrong. I brought my brother along too for the first time... he really thought the band was amazing and is now a fan of the band !!! All in all... really cool venue and performances that freakin' rocked!!! I have never really written a song list in a review, but here is my go at it. The songs are not listed in the order played... and if I forgot any (or messed up) then feel free to add or edit... One More Reason Rip and Tear Trees Sex Action Ballad of Jayne Wish You Were Here Shut The F' Up Never Enough Can't Always Get What You Want No Mercy * New song... not sure of title... bad me for not paying attention to that detail. This was my review... and sorry about not posting pictures. I stopped taking them at shows a long time ago. I realized back then that I wasn't the best at taking action shots and I had a hard time watching the show, so I gave up on taking pictures  |

Just an anecdote...at one point in the show Tracii would play a little something on his guitar, and Marty would "respond" to it with weird guitar-like vocal sounds. I thought it was both amusing and cool!

Blue, I absolutely  it when Marty and Tracii do that "call and answer".  Yes, it was a cool tangent. I wanted them to keep going and going!  |

Star, thanks for that great review!!! I really miss seeing those guys play. I hope they will tour again this spring. I'm actually kinda amazed at how much they've gotten under my skin, since I only discovered them when Marty joined.
