Yes, it was a cool tangent. I wanted them to keep going and going! and going and going and going. Man, I miss that one. [/IMG] *note to self* look for that video again.
I've got a video of that I took at the Key Club

Star, thanks for that great review!!! I really miss seeing those guys play. I hope they will tour again this spring. I'm actually kinda amazed at how much they've gotten under my skin, since I only discovered them when Marty joined. LOL.. They are really great guys. And, I have been honored to have met a lot of new and incredible people that support the talents of the band. Who says that family is only through blood ?... I say creativity is the new blood running through our veins... and with that music is the tie that brings our family together. Rock on my family

That was so weird... I posted something and it showed all the " " marks in it, but I didn't put that. I went back to delete and repost it... it looks right this time.

When I quoted Rachael, the hearts didn't show but the tags did. I removed those tags from my post, and that seemed to fix it. Weird, because only the heart images were problematic.

I don't know... I only posted one image and the signs came up two more times within the post without any image... I just deleted it and started fresh.

Your too funny...LOL So, the question is what are you working on? Are you working on not screaming or finding a better technique?

volume level, duration, timing and control. That sounds like an excellent lesson plan... it is all about controlling that breathing and using the proper muscles to support it (not the throat or you'll lose your voice)... I guess I learned something in drama class after all

I was really excited about going to this show since I have never been able to make any of the Cali shows ever. Terri, Erin, and I were going to make the trek from Chi-town to LA. The 3 of us were scheduled separate flights, but Terri and I both had early morning flights so we left Chicago for LA for the Redondo Beach show. We had a room close to the venue so it wasn't long before we were on our way there. I was so excited to see Cali friends I hadn't seen in a very long time and to get to meet others I had never had the chance to meet before.
The venue was a small dark club. It felt really intimate, gotta love that!! In seconds the show was in full throtle fast and furious, just the way I like it. I have no idea how long they played, but they played most of the usual songs they play. They also played 'Fire It Up' and another new song I (like Star) do not recall hearing a name for. On an unusual note, Marty played "Wish You Were Here' on an electric guitar. Marty came out and talked to some fans for awhile, and I think I remember Chad and Jeremy also mingleing in the crowd.
It was a really fun night seeing the band again and meeting and getting to party with some great friends.
