well dang... this show should be about 5 months and like 27 days further into the year i would say i would be going because i would be in vegas for my 21st! ha ha ;D  |

Just booked my flight, my hotel room and bought my ticket for the Canyon Club show!!!! Looking forward to seeing Sharon and all the other fans going to this show. Now I have to gamble and win big to pay for it |

What can I say: I've been to 5 shows and this was the best so far. Everyone had lots of energy and seemed so darned happy to be playing together. I wish I was better at reviews. Usually I let my photos do the talking, but this time I was camera free, just enjoying the music.
Unfortunately, one fan (male) got a little overly enthusiastic and reached out, slipped 2 fingers under Marty's belt and tugged. Hard. Luckily Marty was able to regain his balance and pull away and then venue security took care of matters quickly and quietly.

The dude was verrrrry drunk. Marty escaped and pretty much laughed it off and security immediately took care of Mr. Drunk. The venue was pretty cool: a disco ball, built-in couches. At the couple of shows I saw this summer, they didn't play "Over the Edge" or "Electric Gypsy" but they did in Vegas, so it was nice to get to hear those. I agree with del that the band seemed in great spirits. Toward the end of the show Chad lead a brief toast to his bandmates and a group hug ensued. Chad joked around calling Marty "the great blond hope".  |

I almost forgot about that, LOL!!!!!! And they ended their set with "This Town", which I thought was a nice tribute to the blonde hope!

He was standing one or two rows back between Marty and Tracii and had dark hair. I really didn't notice him too much except when he got excited and kept making devil horns and blocking my view a bit. And, of course, when he grabbed at Marty.

What can I say about the Las Vegas Canyon Club show?  Well lets see, the club had a really spacious feel. The stage was well placed with plenty of space to get a good spot. The first band was good, the second band was better and, well the 3rd band was LA Guns. The guys seemed to be really excited and amped up and there were plenty of smiles and laughter throughout the show. Marty came out into the audience twice. His performance was fierce!   My personal favorite small detail about the show was his bare feet.  Following a great show the audience began to and continued to chant, "LA Guns" finally they all came back out, all except Marty. In unusual fashion Tracy (who I don't think I have ever heard say two words on stage) said they wanted to do a song in honor of Marty. He returned to the stage and they did 'This Town' Marty came out after the show and visited and took pictures with lots of the fans and friends that were there. It was a great show! One of my all time favorites for sure.  |
