I have a friend in San Diego and passed along some info about the 710 Beach Club:
The 710 beach club is where the road ends and the beach boardwalk begins just at the base of the Crystal pier.
It did use to be the old Blind Melons club, which was a small dank dive and they knocked some walls out. Its slightly bigger but is more like a sports bar. It has stand up bar tables and a few chairs, pool table in the back but its still small. The club isnt selling tickets, just $12 cover and despite there being 3-4 bands total to sit through before LA Guns people better get there early so they get in.
There is very little parking at the beach which will be taken no matter what time people get there so they may have to park up to 1 mile away.
