L.A. Guns deleted

I noticed L.A. Guns' official myspace page has been deleted.
I wonder if this has anything to do with their sharing the same name with the other band?
I've seen this happen on myspce before when there was an internal fight between bands after a split. I hope this is not the case, otherwise they would have to start back from zero.

Unfortunately, this is exactly the reason. Phil Lewis has convinced myspace to shut down our page. It is not completely removed but in standby what means that it is blocked until they can check if what Phil has argued is true or not.

The band and the team are working to sort it out. Please, be patient and if you need any information then go to www.lagunslive.com

Tell me if I am I wrong , but isn't Tracii's LAGUNS the right one and Phil's is the secondary band ? Tracii has a baby on the way , he does not need to deal with foolishness like this . If there was a problem in the first place I would think Myspace would have handled it . Tracii and the Guns are here to stay . Phil needs to move on .

Breaking news!! Phil Lewis got backfired.

We’ve contacted the Myspace Music Team reporting that our site have been unfairly removed and demonstrating that we have full legal rights to own the L.A. Guns name.

The site is going to be completely restored as it was before it was shut down so please, be patient and don’t remove the blank field that we left at your top friends because we’ll be there real soon

www.myspace.com/losangelesguns will be verified as an official page in the myspace system as soon as it comes back live on site (and will prevent any unwarranted deletion of the profile going forward).

Special thanks to the Myspace Music Team and to you, fans and friends that have shown your love and support with this issue.

Nancy/BBE, I asked her the same question: both pages will exist on MySpace since two people (Tracii and Steve Riley) own the rights to the name.

What Denise said . You may know that there's a lawsuit regarding the band's name rights and we are pending on the courts veredict. Hopefully, there will only be one L.A. Guns soon.

Hi Isa ! I just logged into Myspace and saw that the page is not back yet . Do you have to re-do everything and fans will have to friend request again , or will all come back on same as usual ?

This has to be so frustrating for the guys , especially for Tracii . I hope the legal issue of the name gets settled soon so there will be only one LA GUNS : Tracii's LAGUNS . Did he not form this band in the first place ?

Just got this message from the Myspace Music Team:

We have begun the restore process on your account. We appreciate your patience. This will take at least 72 hours (at minimum). Again, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

72 hours is nothing!!!

If you didn't delete the blank we left in your friends list, we'll be there. We don't have to do anything. We'll keep all the friends we had, Myspace is taking care of everything so we only have to wait a bit more.

It's frustrating having someone always trying to damage us, but that person normally gots backfired in everything he does. Tracii was a bit pissed off in the beginning, but now he's only thinking in the baby boy
