Thanks Smitten! This interview was great. I finally know why Marty puts electrical tape on his fingers! I always wondered. It's awesome to hear more complete answers to question rather than the normal short and sweet that leaves you still wondering.

Take some time to listen to the Klublife interview. Marty and Dino give answers to some great new questions. New songs, fan appreciation gig maybe in the summer etc.

You got it Angelshadow - still, I had to listen to that part a second time and write it down -

Black electrical tape + mad conductor moves = hypnotism

I knew this obsession was out of my control!!

What did you guys think about the inspiration behind the song Hold On? He is so passionate when he sings that song live, that I was surprised to learn that it wasn't a Marty experience. Interesting.

Ok I had emailed the Klublife editor and he has asked that I not post just a partial of the podcast....and that he wants folks to come to their site to listen in. That seems like a reasonable request to me..... so I now have the Klublife interview featured on the front page with a link to go play it. Sorry I couldn't shorten it down for you guys. At about the 44 min mark on the podcast start listening for our guys.

That seemed obvious to me that it was someone else's experience. In fact, all of the songs sound extremely personal to Marty's life/loves/friends, it was a great question for Tara to ask. The more I listen to the album, the more I feel like Marty's had a lot of bad sh** happen to him, hope his life in all ways gets better!!!

I particularly like This Town on the old album and the one he's singing in concert now -- mostly because it's not about a broken relationship he's had and it just rocks out!!!
