This going to be a really fun show. I am so looking forward to it. It is the one All Ages show on the tour and we will have two very exciting youth bands opening for Marty. Galaxy Stampede are still at High School but have managed to gain themselves quite a following. velocity Scene's MyspaceThey are gonna go places. And the lead singer, Josh, is very excited about getting to play Trees with Marty. He is an impressive young man with a great set of values, some healthy ambition and an eye on the future. He also has his own clothing line Faith Before The Fall. Both bands have the kind of energy and potential that make me think of Lovehammers at that age. They will be bringing their shows to Majestic House in acoustic form. I cannot wait. |

Palari, I checked their site, especially Asleep and Dreaming Teaser reminds me of LH with that changing tempos, cool guys! I see a big mix in the audience, truly all ages show  btw, my student went to NZ recently, just received card from her...nothing but volcanoes, are you going to be close? Some of them are very active she wrote  |

LOL IWO...we won't be anywhere near any of the active volcanoes. So rest assured, Marty will be quite safe. I do promise to send him back...

Just got this comment on the MXCNZ Bebo page: OMG I got to hug marty last night!! he gives the best hugs. Loved the show!! This is an awful pic of me (of course marty looks gorgeous) but im posting it anyway. because I GOT TO HUG MARTY!!  Sounds like it might have been a good show, no? |

..to say the least...lol that was a fun read. I love the excitement of fans when they first meet marty. I have seen some before that literally have oodles of things to say and they are thrown into Martyworld and are a bumbling, muttering mess. It's so cute.

Starcrossed - that wasn't me! Haha. It was somebody else commenting on one of the pages for the tour. Don't worry though, in three days I *WILL* have my Marty pic and it's gonna ROCK.
wefdweb - Bebo is just another networking site, like facebook or myspace. It's probably the most popular with younger people here in NZ, and I started it for Palari specifically to gain interest for the all ages show -unfortunately , I didn't realize until after I started trying to invite people - you can't invite to join groups on bebo! Well, you can, but after ten or so flood control kicks in and it won't let you invite anymore for another day. So the page never really got off the ground. But a few people joined, so not all was lost.

I was standing on the door at Majestic House when two women came over with their tickets. They saw an annoucement for the show on Marty's Myspace/Facebook and decided they had to be there...Turns out they were Aussies who had flown over from South Australia just for this show.  to Vivienne and Vicki, I know you enjoyed the show and meeting Marty. I can't imagine any fans who would go to those lengths to see their Rockstar do his thing   You girls ROCK!! I wasn't going to review the shows just yet..I'm still kinda processing the whole trip. But since I'm here... Majestic House There were lots of people but the venue was big so it felt really intimate. Its such a different feel to a show when the audience is seated (except for the Ausgirls ) Marty started off with Mr Brightside and from there, as with all the shows, I don't quite remember them all...he did HMBOMT, Never Tear Us Apart, Can't Always Get What You Want (With an Ausgals chorus ) The Riddle, Driving Blind and Creep with the guys from Velocity Scene - who also rocked! Then he cut Angel's hair. Beautiful straight shiny long long long blonde hair. Angel had been growing her hair for six years and gathering sponsors to raise money for CANTEEN. Majestic House was the night for her haircut and Marty did a great job. YOU ROCK ANGEL Then it was time for Trees with anyone onstage who wanted to join in. I stood up there with Angel, her mum and my son Brandon and looked across the stage to see Palari and her gorgeous daughter rockin out on the other side...it really was a great final show for me. Palari...thankyou |

That sounds like an amazing show Jet... thank you for sharing that with us. How wonderful that those fans flew out just to see that show, and what a beautiful soul Angel is for doing that. Angel does ROCK!!!
