I saw a picture of Angel with Marty standing next to her. I hope someone got video of that!
How awesome that she grew her hair just to raise money for Canteen. What a wonderful thing to do.

How cool Vivienne & Vicki traveled all that way to see Marty. (We all know it was worth it) Thank you Jet for sharing all the info and your review, it is so appreciated! And Angel, what a befitting name!

Jet - thank you for sharing your experience with us. It sounds like such an amazing adventure and experience. Some of the photos of NZ are so majestic. Now I need to put it on my list of places to visit. And I love the story of Angel. What a wonderful thing to do!!!!

Howdy all! Just got back late last night from visiting Helen in Melbourne after our adventure (MXCNZ south island leg of the tour). Sorry to say to .orgers, I took very few pics of Marty and those that I did at the concerts came out too dark. Guess I should have read the instructions that came with the camera before heading to NZ.. Anyhooo, I did manage a very short clip of Marty cutting Angel's hair for yuz. Cheers to Angel www.youtube.com/watch?v=28hS7dtWfaE&feature=channel_pageWhat I absolutely love about the Trees You Tube video from the same show www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkxlhAVbI4Mif you look behind the neck of Marty's guitar you can get of glimpse of Angel joining Jet onstage to rock out to Trees. What an awesome night. It was our last night together. Lots of wonderful memories of our MXCNZ adventure with my dear Jet, Ingt, Helen, Sozl and Jet's son Brandon and of course Marty. Miss yuz all muchly. Den

Welcome home, Den! Are you still in shock from the cold and snow? Thanks for getting that video up so quickly. I would have expected you to sleep soundly for 2 days, at least, just to catch up. Sorry you weren't able to hang out for the last show in Melbourne , but are you glad to be home?

Welcome home, Den! Are you still in shock from the cold and snow? Thanks for getting that video up so quickly. I would have expected you to sleep soundly for 2 days, at least, just to catch up. Sorry you weren't able to hang out for the last show in Melbourne , but are you glad to be home? Helloooo HY! I just got up from my nana nap. It has been a bit of a shock after being in such beeeeeeautiful weather in NZ and AU. I've had to compensate with snacking on Maltesers and TimTams It's fantastic to be back with my family and grandchildren, but I loved every second of my trip.....well except for missing the inauguration on the long flight back. Helen watched it while I was in the air. My grandchildren surprised me when I got home with balloons and handwritten welcoming messages of how much they missed their grandma and my son Jeremy had recorded the inauguration on my DVR. I am sooooo fricken blessed. I wish I could have been there for the final show in Melbourne with Helen, Jet, Lizzie ( Aussie) and perhaps even Dani ( Peekaboo). Gotta get back to work on that Saturday so that I can save for the next big adventure in 2010 Till next time: Cheers to all of the friendships made here at the .org/.com Den

Glad you got home safely, Den, and that you had such a wonderful vacation! But what a drag to be back in IN after all that lovely scenery in NZ, right? Are you very jet-lagged?

..to say the least...lol that was a fun read. I love the excitement of fans when they first meet marty. I have seen some before that literally have oodles of things to say and they are thrown into Martyworld and are a bumbling, muttering mess. It's so cute. I can relate-I have met Marty twice and just cannot get myself together to say anything that makes sense--my head just seems to enter a state of delirium. My kids were more composed than I was! I need to get it together the next time so I can get my Marty and me pic...hee hee!
