Hi everyone,
My name is Janell, I will be 28 (cringe) in a month or so and I live in Northern California. I have been registered to this site for a month but have not been able to log in. Finally, I am in and can say Hi! I am just getting the hang of this board and really enjoying what everyone has to say and the pics that are shared.
Initially I was nervous to get on here, I felt like a little kid going to the first day of school and I am the freshman. I have honestly been blind sided by my discovery of Marty's talent and music, I never saw RockStar:INXS and had never heard of either. I have spent the past few weeks researching on YouTube and checking out archived footage of the show and have been very pleasantly surprised by Marty as an artist.
So, now I am so excited to be a part of the Marty Casey fan community. I am loving his music, I can't wait to hear the new material and hopefully they will come to the west coast (cross my fingers). If not, I am surely going to make a trip east.
Oh, can someone tell me how to get my pic loaded??

[/quote] It is a funny story, I was in my Pilates class and I was in a really bad mood, and Clouds started playing and I just stopped and was sort of mesmerized by his voice and the lyrics. After months of going to that class just to hear that particular song I borrowed the C.D. from the teacher and figured out who it was. I then began to research Marty and his music. I am really happy I decided to go to Pilates that day! Janell |

Welcome Janell!!!!!!!! That was the best story I have heard about discovering Marty! And the Lh's are great music to work out to.
It's funny you mention how you first heard of him, because I have been unemployed for almost 4 months and I finally got a job and I was tanning in a tan bed yesterday with my iPod and "Hold On" was playing and I heard my cell phone ringing loudly, I flew out of the bed and took off my earbuds and answered my phone and it was the Health Insurance company, offering me the job (they had 45 applicants and 25 interviewees)

Rockbeast, Awesome news on the job. I too just got news of a job after being unemployed for 9 months. I was feeling sooo down. That is when I first heard Marty's music. Things have all fallen together now, I just got a job this week and I am moving into my own place next month. Cheers to you as well!! |
