 Guns Rocked the place! They played 4th of the 8 bands. They played for about 45 minutes. Tempature was about 105 degrees. ALL of the guys were ON FIRE! Everyone I spoke to at and after the show said L.A. Guns were GREAT!!! Sorry no pics, the event web site site said no cameras allowed so I didn't even take mine. There seemed to be plenty of people with press passes taking pics so hopefully we'll see some soon. (more later)

I made this trip solo. It was quite an adventure going somewhere I had never been before and going to an event the size of this this knowing no one there, well except for Marty. They didn't play WYWH or Trees, it was all out full throtle Rock n Roll, very high energy. It was great!! The stage was large, plenty of room for Marty to do what he does so well. Walking some security guard rails Marty did make his way out into the crowd, literally. It was definetly another great show. The crowd loved them! It was a great event! Big crowd, great food, great music, no problems I saw anywhere, and I walked around alot. You couldn't walk 10 minutes without running into one of the musicans, they were all over the place. I met lots of really cool people and the staff at the hotel took excellent care of me, taking me to the event location and picking me back up when I called for them. As a side note, I also really enjoyed Skid Row. Great time! Great show! I can't wait for the next one!!!  |
