Hi Everybody,
It's almost 3 in a morning, but I want you to know that concert in House of Blues was a huge success!!!
Place was packed but the energy coming from Marty and the band
let everybody forget about it and concentrate on performers instead.
Cameras were not allowed there, but I saw few of our "staff " photographers taking pictures, so I'm sure we will see some pics soon!
Sirens announced the show...
I don't remember in order all the songs, but it was a mixture between
old, older and the new ones like "Come on Baby" including the song Marty wrote while 2 months in Mexico, I believe it's called "Cheer up".
We were also treated to a special tune for fans with it's motto being
united under the LH music! Sure we felt special!!! I was actually sitting next to the camera man and he told me while filming that the whole show will be available
on DVD, so for those who could not make it or for those who would love to re-live it again there will be another chance!
Marty was in a great mood and sounded great as well!
You could tell he knows when he's singing for
his people! He felt literally at home, smiled and laugh a lot, interacted with the audience, let people sing to a microphone, especially those who were standing up front.
Somebody become very emotional during Trees, and I just saw Marty leaning forward during that song and saying "It's ok mam".
There was also very nice that he brought on the stage 17 years old
disabled kid and referred to him as a hero, because of how much that kid was going through during his short live already...
Everybody applauded.
I was very happy to see Matt Hoffer joining LH in "Sky is falling" with
his incredible high pitch voice! He just flew in from performing in Texas with his own band Holding Mercury.
For those who don't know he is a native Chicagoan.
By the end of the show,I believe Isa (Rachael), correct me if I'm wrong, gave Marty some electronic gadget displaying in red moving letters "Rock Star".
He attached it to his belt for the rest of the performance, I thought
it was neat!
Some people had paper banners saying "Make rock not war"
Also every so often confetti was flying in the air, which brought even
more drama to this place. Btw, the main stage in House of Blues is
a replica of Opera House in Prague, with it's double balconies and
dramatic curtain coming up and down!

all the others I saw (a lot already).I think the combination venue +
crowd is a big factor. This one was definitely one of my favorite shows!
