That is a gorgeous "rockbandlounge" photo! How DID Marty know ... Serendipity! Some things are just meant to be... It was the only frame out of hundreds where the lights were in that color combination - so it was a combination of luck - and probably me responding to something I like - so when that combination came up, I instinctively got the shot. But whatever it was, I love the image because of it! I've got my photo essay up - linked off the front page of www.rockbandlounge.com I think the images are beautiful - it was a fabulous venue, with great lighting, and an awesome band - how could it not be beautiful? I wish you could all see them on my big Cinema Display - that's the way images like this should be seen!

WOW, Cheryl, just WOW!!! You captured Marty and the guys just perfectly! Say, your always welcome to swinging by here anytime with goodies like that, lol. Thanks everyone who has taken the time to write a review. I haven't had a chance to pull anything together yet, but everyone has pretty much nailed it on the head. The show rocked and the guys were on fire. I got the privileged to be right up front (3 feet from the stage, by Dino) for the show with my friends, Isa, CF, NancyD, HY, Jodi, Chelsea, and Boston, just to name a few. We all rocked it out all night, still trying to come down from that experience. They played a few new songs which I thought were all great. Marty made a comment during the show that not everyone likes something new but, I must say I am chomping for new stuff. I for one would be ecstatic if they announced a new cd at this point, I'm sooo ready to hear what they have been pouring there hearts into. I have heard "Guns" before at Summerfest, I could tell they have tweaked it since them and it really sounded amazing. Another song, Marty wrote while in Mexico (name is slipping me know) was phenomenal. I heard that one done at HammerCruise and liked it then in it's raw stages. Anyway you get the point...loving the new stuff just as much as the older and current. These guys really blow me away, the only thing I didn't like about the show was that it had to end. They had a few special guests play that night, Ben Kelley and Matt Hoffer were among those, another guy (who I wasn't familiar with) joined them also. So much fun to see the them all together. I had a couple of Lil' hammerheads right next to me up front and Marty made a point of going over and singing to them and giving them a lot of attention, that was so fun to see. There was a lot of funny elements to the show too, little impromptu dances, and jokes. Marty managed to climb out into the audience and sing some of a new song they wrote with the Hammerheads in mind. He was also determined to balance on the railing several times making some of us just a little nervous that security would be picking him up out of the media pit. There were so many great moments in the show, and throughout the weekend that I will treasure. I went over to Rockit after the show for the after-party, and although it was crowded beyond words, and hard to move around, who was I to complain so we stuck it out and tried to make the most of all the weekend had to offer. We all grabbed a drink, kicked back and socialized. Once the Rocket closed we headed over to "Mother Hubbards" across the way. This was a nice bar, good music, and plenty of space to hang around with your party. We also noticed that Bobby, Dino, and Marty closed down "Mother Hubbards" too. Saturday morning a group of us went down to the river to see them die it green, and them on to the parade. We managed to fight the cold and get through all the outdoor activities, and on to a fantastic lunch. Before lunch we met up with DustyBlue and her husband, and they joined us. It was so nice to met them and send time with them. Sat. Night we found ourselves along with 70+ other hammerheads at a T-bones bar "Black Duck" for a light dinner and drinks. I must say this was such a fantastic night, spending time with everyone again, sharing a drink in a classy little bar. Special thanks to T-bone for posting the idea. I plan to go back there next time I'm in the city. Sunday, was very much a day of seeing Hammerheads leaving one, by one. After having flight issues my time in the city was extended to late Sunday night, so again I was off with some wonderful friends, HY, Larry (Lynn's Husband), NancyD, and Isa, for a tour throughout the city, this is a day I will treasure. I found myself laughing so hard I was crying multiple times. We ended the tour and night with a dinner at Athena's restaurant in Greek Town. I've been there before in the summer and was excited to go back. It was a perfect ending to the perfect weekend. Then it was time for my dreaded good-bye to my dear friend Rachel~not good-bye but see you later! I can't wait till the next time. To all of you who I got to see again and to all those I go to meet for the first time, it was was so much hanging out with you all.

YC that was a wonderful review - one of my most special moments was seeing my 1st Lovehammer concert with all of you. I also meant to say in my earlier review that I also loved all the new songs as well. Can't wait to hear more.

Thank you for the pictures Cheryl! That show was sooo amazing! Rachael and YC, I love your reviews! YC, I must have been right next to you. I was in 2nd row by HY. It's amazing how many people were there and I didn't meet. Next time! I ended up leaving Rockets early, just too many people and found a cool diner not too far away. Breakfast never tasted so good at 2 in the morning! I always seem to miss the guys after the show. Guess I'm just gonna have to make another trip!

Thanks for everyones comments on my review. I know how important it is to everyone who wasn't able to attend the show, to have a reveiw to live vicariously through, been there, needed that! So much went on through the weekend I wish I could share it all with you, but I don't think I could ever put it all into words. Hopefully, some fan pics of the weekend will surface soon and you all will be able to have the visuals. Rachel, I'm with you, love the pics with your belt buckle...too funny that he kept it. Want me to google you another one??? ;D ;D ;D Can we go back now?
