Tour Update
Hey Everyone,

We were hoping that we (Marty and I) would be touring this summer in support of our new record but no release date has been set so, we decided to do our own thing until that day comes and also that Big Al will not be on this LAG tour either and is looking forward to the record coming out.

Makes sense that Marty focus on doing his own thing and put his energy into promoting Heavy Crown. Glad to hear there aren't any negative vibes....couldn't imagine it after seeing them last summer. Maybe Marty will come close enough that I can catch him in a solo this summer!

I think it's great that the two bands are promoting each other. Tracii sent the LH tour schedule out as part of the press release and I think that's awesome!!

I'm looking forward to seeing two great bands this summer!!

I know I don't get here so much...not at all, really, but when I get a phone call from a "Marty lover" saying she got a phone call from a fellow "ML" that Marty isn't touring with L.A.G. and wanted to know if I knew anything, well, where else would I go first, right?

SO, I was only in the Dakota Rockfest thread so far and was going to post a link that Tracii sent me which went to a site with this same explanation. Thanks for putting the whole thing up there for people Sharon!

I, too, like Tracii and he's been really nice and helpful to me. But I have to admit, I'm really happy to see all of the Lovehammers w/Marty stuff along with his solo gigs happening again.

Alec updated his info with a message on Myspace....

"I would like to announce my departure from LA guns tour 09. I would also like to thank all who came to the shows and supported not only myself but the whole band. I left the band to pursue other opportunities. I will be going to college to study recording arts. Maybe I will see some of you at future Guns or Marty Casey shows.

For any who is interested, I will be having various solo shows in southern california (They will be posted) on my Myspace.
