Summer Update

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to send out a message to keep everyone up to date with what I have going on.

Lovehammers:
I have been working intensely on the new Lovehammers CD (Heavy Crown) for the last 3 1/2 months. It is finally done! We wrote, recorded, mixed and mastered the album and it will be released on July 21, 2009. The band is really excited for everyone to hear what we have created and look forward to you hearing the single being released prior to the album release. We have a huge weekend of shows starting June 19th and are booking more festivals throughout the summer.

LA Guns:
Tracii Guns and I have agreed to separate LA Guns from the new Alexus Records project (name to be determined) that we recorded last summer. We were hoping to be supporting our new Alexus Records disk release this past spring but the label has held up the project as they are trying to develop the infrastructure of the new record label.

This summer, we have decided to keep our individual projects separated: I will be performing and releasing a record (July 21, 2009) with Lovehammers.

Tracii, Jeremy, Chad and Jizzy Pearl will be doing a nostalgia tour “Guns n Pearls” this summer.

We all feel good about this decision and are looking forward to reuniting when a plan for the release of the Alexus Records disk is solidified.

The good news is there is lots of great music coming to a town near you. Check out a Lovehammers and an LA Guns show this summer!

Thanks for the update. I'm definitely looking forward to the release of both albums from both bands. It'll be great to see things unfold for Lh this summer and my fingers are crossed for a release date for the LAG/new-name album soon!

Thank you for the Marty Summer update. I received a "MCLH" Google alert this morning on the update Tracii put out on the LA Guns site.
You're VERY busy this Summer. I hope this means you'll be performing in LA with Lovehammers! Come West please. See you in Chicago and....? Can't wait for the shows AND the New record!
