Just passing this on because I do whatever the "cyber donkey" tells me to... LOL Hammerheads, Sorry for sending out another e-mail so quickly, but we wanted to let you know about the ticket situation for Hammerfest. After the first weekend of sales, the tickets to HAMMERFEST 2010 are 1/2 gone. We have no idea how long the rest will last - it can be days, it can be months. What we do know is that if you plan on coming, you should get your tickets now. You can currently get your tickets without any Ticketmaster surcharges. In order to do this, all you need to do is send payment via PayPal to slhammers_2000@yahoo.com. If you do not have a PayPal account, you will still be able to send a payment via PayPal by using their easy to follow instructions. VIP/SOUNDCHECK Package - SOLD OUT VIP 2 - t-shirt, signed cd, ticket - $35 + $2 per ticket GA Ticket - $23 + $2 per ticket If you are coming in from out of town, please keep in mind that there will be a few things going on this weekend, so plan on being here on Friday. We are very very close to securing the Hotel, so please stay tuned. Also, please send this info to any Hammerheads you know that aren't on our mailing list. Will be a great show! And Dino said they are also playing Friday the 12th, with details to come. So it will be a nice long weekend of getting hammered. I am coming in on the 11th around 6pm and then staying through Monday at around 3pm. :-) Can't wait!!!!

Man this absolutely kills me! I'll be in Daytona for Daytona 500 race Feb.14th with DH and good friends. How I wish I could go for another nice long LH weekend, just like this past June... Here's hoping for summer 2010! I'll definitely be on a plane to Chicago (or somewhere) in 2010 to see my favourite group. |

Yes seeing them in the summer is my personal favorite. rather than the bone chilled chicago winter. brrrrr. lolz key- awwe well I would give you a cell cert but this is my 3rd LH HOB show and you cannot get service when inside the HOB. Maybe I could give a CC at the show the night before?  ? Always glad to share the love with whomever wants it. Is it Feb 11th yet? |

Has anyone gotten their tickets yet? I had the charges come through on my credit card statement but haven't received anything yet. Fingers crossed that I can secure childcare and make it for the WHOLE weekend............I'm so excited I can't think straight! Never been to Hammerfest before, and it is my b-day present to me!!!! Janell--if you want to keep warm in Chicago in February, do like the natives do, and wear layers. Gloves, scarf, and hat are a must, too. Unless we get lucky and get some unseasonably warm weather, it can be in the 20's, with a chilly wind blowing.
So bring those layers!

Here's some info on a good rate at a hotel very close to HOB: Springhill Suites 410 North Dearborn St. Chicago, Illinois 60610 USA Phone: 1-312-644-4071 This is across the street from HOB! If your stay that weekend includes either Thursday or Sunday nights, the rate is $79 per night, rather than $99 per night if you don't have one of those days. This is for a room with a king bed and a sofa bed, so at least 4 people could fit in the room. There is a kitchenette with a fridge and microwave, and the rate also includes a hot breakfast (yum!). This is a very nice hotel, and the rate is hard to beat in downtown Chicago. One half of the building is Springhill, and the other half is Residence Inn. They are both by Marriott, so if you have Marriott points, you can use them there. |
