I am voting hourly, it does not even seem like our numbers are moving much? I don't think the people voting for the "other guy" have listened to Guns... That is my theory.  |

Dino said something to the effect at lh.com that the counting program was down for a bit or somit on LH. We have to remember Jason has the AI effect.

I've been voting all day; I've noticed the amount of total votes cast are going up, so assume my one little vote here and there isn't making much difference............it won't stop me though! Just been reading the comments - I've never heard of this other guy, sounds like his fans are just as dedicated as us Hammerheads though! |

Lovehammers 44% to Jason's 56% !
It would be sad if the Lovehammers lost to Jason Castro, but as one commenter said, "it's all music, it's all good" or something to that effect. :-)
I have to admit I liked Jason's personality back on AI, and the song they have linked to from the voting site is pretty catchy!
We have til Friday, right? I'll keep voting when I can.

Well, Jason won, but it appears we made an impact on the Hot Zone peeps. Just in case you haven't seen it. This is the way the new challenge write-up begins: "Last week, Champion and Former American Idol contestant Jason Castro battled it out with Rock band The Lovehammers (Who are fronted by Marty Casey of ROCKSTAR: INXS fame). Ultimately after a record 91,303 votes were cast, Jason Castro and their fans showed they have what it takes to continue on as the champion. Not to worry Lovehammer fans you gave them an amazing run and don’t be surprised if we see you back on the Head to Head in the future!!" Also, some of the Dreadheads have taken time to listen to the band's songs on MySpace, and I think a few have added Hammerhead to their self-descriptions. Some were asking about radio stations that have "Guns" saying they'd call and request it, and the sites. Make them welcome when they come to join the family |

Very nice. Wish we would have won, however, there was definitely some interest in Lovehammers music  We'll just keep voting every time they are in a contest! |

Jason won again last week, but with a lot bigger margin than we LH'ers let him get away with!  The Hot Zone has a video of his song up now if you are interested - www.youtube.com/watch?v=PzoiTk6oSKwIt's not Lovehammers for sure, but I thought the song was cute and so is the video.  |

So, I was looking at the comments this week on the Head to Head voting and saw this: ... The Lovehammers gave us a great competition. They were classy opponents. Bring back the Hammerheads…aww, a Jason fan called us classy! We did good, guys, even if the LH'ers didn't win our head-to-head week making a good impression and that's what this is really all about -- the publicity, hopefully GOOD publicity! |
