Hi to Lovehammers and Martycasey.com Friends! I haven't been on the board in a long time because I have been in a cave writing a book. Okay so it only feels like I have been in a cave but I have almost finished the book and I have entered it in a competition called the NEXT TOP SPIRITUAL AUTHOR. I'm writing to ask for 5 minutes or less of your time to vote for me and my book in this competition. The first round is like American Idol, I can't make it through without your vote. I am one of over 2000 authors and only the top 250 vote getters make it through to Round Two. The book is about spirituality and listening to the voice within but surprisingly has a chapter that talks quite extensively about how I reconnected with a part of myself through this band and the wonderful people I met in the years after Rockstar. (I know most of you would agree that there is something about this band that adds joy to our hearts and connects us with an important part of ourselves.) Dawn, you can go to nexttopauthor.com and under Author Id enter 2127. That's how I got it to work.  |

I fixed the URL. Thanks for letting me know that it didn't work. I should have tested it from this site. Thanks for voting Lyn. I appreciate the support from my LH/MC community.

THANK YOU Everyone who has voted so far. I was in the top 200 last week! The top 250 make it through. The vote goes through May 3, so there is still time to vote if you haven't.       Thank you everyone who voted in Round One. I found out today that I advanced to Round Two. I am now in a group of 250 authors who are vying for that publishing contract instead of in a group of 3000! Another round of voting will open at the end of the month. The next cut is from 250 to 25! I'll come back and post when it is time to vote! Thanks all my MC friends. I couldn't have done it without you! You rock! Love Carol

I voted! I also did the meditation/writing exercise. What poured (I do mean poured! I could barely keep up!) was interesting. And it was done (just like turning off a tap) before the five mins. were up but just moments before one of my kids walked in from school. I've read it over a few times trying to get the sense of it.
I need your book to be published!! And yes, I've voted!
