Castle on ABC

Well tomorrow night is the season premier of season 3 whoohooo I can't wait. I love that show. It's a fun and serious cop show and it's not too intense but intense enough to keep you coming back. Especially if you like Nathan Fillion..
How many here are watching it besides me? If you are a fan do you want the two main characters to hook up or do you want to see them play off each other for a few more seasons? I personally think if they get together the tension will be gone and it will flop. Any other thoughts?

Love Castle! Nathan Fillion is awsome, first saw him in Firefly.

I think it'll be like Bones they'll just never get together or they'll almost get together and then something will happen. Kinda like Psych. Another great show!

I'm a season behind

Art bought me the "Heat Wave" book that was a good read!

Season 2 starts here Wednesday I can hardly wait. None of the programmes I watch are back yet.......V, Human Target (I'm still bitter about Flash Forward), Stargate Universe for Art.

I think if they did get together it takes the tension away - didn't they do that with Moonlighting & it bombed? I don't remember it as I wasn't allowed to stay up late to watch it.

Love Castle - and I agree - they need to keep the tension. It usually manages to backfire when they actually get together.

Stupid Flash Forward getting cancelled! All my shows are starting up this week!

Except Sanctuary. Stupid Syfy moved what was originally the 28th airdate to October 15th!!! I don't think I can actually wait that long! My favorite character is actually going to appear in more than 2 episodes per season! Anyone else watch it?

Man Oh Man was it an excellent episode. I loved it! Loved the tension between the two of them and loved how he got busted..TWICE haha. It was so fun. Grumpy I am getting caught up on Firefly I rented discs 1 and 2 of the show which is the first 8 episodes. I have two more discs to go and the movie. I love Nathan..He is so adorable

Hi guys,

Another Castle fan here Have no idea what season we are screening in Australia but I have only started watching it about 6 months ago so they are all new to me. Just lov the tension between the 2 of them, whoever cast this show did an awesome job and certainly picked a great cast.

Firefly I have never seen, must try to catch an episode but don't know it, maybe it isn't on Oz TV yet, LOVE Sanctuary, but then I am a huge Amanda Tapping fan, is this why you watch Sanctuary grumpypirate?

Since I have stopped with my horses I have tried reading more and with surgery coming up next week I will be in hospital for about 3 weeks for 2 ops so I might have to look out for 'Heat Wave' to read!

I am so glad you are liking Castle. Here its on at the same time as the new Hawaii 5-0 starring Alex O'Loughlin..He is sooo adorable Hot yummy haha.. How'd you let him come to the states? I don't think we will let you have him back
Anyway what is going on with the last Castle episode you saw? If it is last seasons I don't want to say too much and ruin if for you,or Dawn. I wish you could watch it online to stay current

Jilly you'll love firefly. It's beyond awsome and funny. I watch pretty much anything Whedon makes.

Helen, I actually started watching Sanctuary last year when I moved in with my sis and bro. They were watching season 2 so I just sort of picked up there. Loved it so much I searched all over youtube til I found season 1 and by that time I was beyond hooked! I think I'm in love with Tesla! Love the actor, Jonathon Young, too. He makes me want to move to Canada. After I got hooked on Sanctuary I started watching all of the Stargate stuff. I'm currently halfway through Atlantis.

What a fun thread when we all love the same TV shows

The last ep of Castle screened last night here in Oz was titled 'Sucker Punch' and the story line was about the team finding a man stabbed to death and then realising that he was also stabbed to death by the same dude that killed Becketts mother 10 years ago. Do you guys know that one? What season are we watching?

Grumpypirate, I also LOVE Stargate but haven't seen all if Atlantis yet and haven't even started watching SGU yet, am waiting for the box DVD set of Atlantis to come out and then I will have one BIG weekend!

Bought Sanctuary season 1 last week on sale and will watch it in hospital as I go in tomorrow for 2 more ops and will be there about 3 weeks so that will fill in the time. I am so sick of hospitals, this will be ops 7 & 8 for this year so far.

GP - I'm with you - I finally watched Dr Horribles Sing along Blog this week that Art got me for my birthday, Nathan Fillian is awesome in that if you haven't seen it - I recommend it, I think it's all on line (if you're in the US) Watch it when you're in a fun mood though, that's my only advice!

I've been watching Stargate Atlantis - it's the only ones I actually enjoy. Art watches all the Stargates, but now I've heard Robert Knepper will be in Stargate Universe, I might have to pay more attention - he's an awesome actor. He can't play a good guy

Hawii 5-0 starts here soon, I expect we'll give it a go. I'm always looking for new shows to watch that aren't soaps or reality shows!

Helen that is last season so you are with Dawn on that one. Last night had a cute moment. I will share. A psychic woman told Kate that a man named "alexander" would save her life one day and be an important person to her. Castle overheard just the last part and said "whose alexander?" later he tells her he was curious about the name "alexander" because that is his middle name. Kate was shocked and then got a silly littel grin. It was soooo sweet. I got pretty giddy actually, but I am a dork like that hahaha.That by the way had nothing to do with the episode itself so I didn't ruin it I promise

Dawn: LOVE Dr. Horrible! Not only did I love both Nathan and Neil Patrick Harris but 1. it was Whedon and 2. it was HALARIOUS! I bought the soundtrack soon after.

Knepper was in Heroes and he played an AWSOME bad guy so it hsould be interesting. Have you seen the latest Universe episode?

Don't watch Hawaii 5-0.

Jill, LOVED this last episode! Especially the Alexander part.

I feel like a helpless romantic too. I love it when they do things like that, but it's hard to express that when you're surrounded by people who don't feel the same.

Oh and Helen, I do hope the opperations go well! Enjoy watching Sanctuary. I saw two commercials for the third season while watching Stargate Universe today and went balistic! October 15th can't come fast enough!

Hmm, if Helen & I are watching the same season, she must be a few episodes in front of me. I've just seen the second one from season 2.

I'm glad to find someone else who's seen Dr Horrible! I loved it too I wish there would be something else on it - I did hear rumours of a movie, but who knows?

We're not getting Stargate Universe until Tuesday, so will keep you posted, yep, Robert Knepper was awesome in Heroes - I loved season 4, it was my second favourite season overall.

I've heard rumors of a Dr Horrible novel of some kind. Graphic novel I think. Something along the lines of how Dr Horrible became Horrible.

We just watched the first episode last night. To me Stargate is just so different from SG1 and Atlantis. There's almost no humor in it.

I've now started watching SG1 - I never really bothered before, but they're all shown all the time and I started watching one with Art, now we're recording them all so I'll catch up, just not in order I don't mind though.

Ooh, I like the idea of a Dr Horrible graphic novel. That would be awesome.

Well I am all caught up on Firefly all I have to watch is the movie
Serenity. And from what I read on wiki I am bummed that he and Inara aren't together?! That's just wrong!!!! Grrrrr!!! But I guess Kaylee and Simon hook up so that's cool. Poor Malcolm he needs Inara. Oh well. I hope they don't mess up Castle that way with him and Beckett or I will not be a happy camper.
