MC&Lh's Rankings at VH1

Top Artist Boards: #11 #13

Top Artist Photos: not in chart


We've got to keep our guys on these charts and get them even higher on the charts. How can we do this? By clicks.

Click here to go to the MC&Lh page at VH1.

Then click on their photo gallery. This will get them in the top Artist Photo Chart.

Then click on the videos. This could get those videos on TV! Send the video link to all your friends.

Then check out their message board at VH1 and post. Lots of Hammerheads have already have threads started. Post in those threads or start your own.

Then head on over to the Top 20 message board and add your request for MC&Lh. Right now it's flooded with INXS requests. I looked back through 11 pages and couldn't find a MC&Lh thread, there's been that many INXS (and Rob Thomas) posts.

Vote to get Lh on the Top 20 Countdown:
www.vh1.com/shows/series/top_20_countdown/ Write in Marty Casey & Lovehammers and Trees at the bottom. When it's added to the list, drag it over to the right side of the screen and add it. Click Submit. Do this repeatedly. Click on "Rank 'Em Again" to go back to the first screen.


Why do we need to do this? The more people who see MC&Lh, the more people will buy the CD. CD sales are the key to getting videos airplay and to getting them added to radio playlists.

Every time I go to VH1 it screws up my computer to the point I have to shut everything off and start up again, so I hate to even open the Lovehammers page one time, let alone all those areas and times.....sheesh.

Anyone else having these issues with Vh1? Please PM me and let me know what you've tried to fix the problems. Maybe I need to change a setting somewhere, but I believe all my programs are up to date on my computer....

I did too, when I was on dial-up. (I just got DSL this week.)

Have you tried a different web browser? I've been using Firefox a lot lately and I like it a lot. Internet Explorer used to give me a lot of problems like that.

I have problems with the VH1 site, too.

I'm almost certain it is because I'm on dial-up. I also have problems with the Lovehammers forum, and pretty much any site that has flash ads. It all depends on what ads they have running on their page at the time I'm trying to view it.

I just resurrected a bunch of threads over on the Top 20 boards, so they should be easier to find now.

I checked Vh1.com and couldn't find a definitive answer. I believe it is through clicks, like their other charts. But, you can purchase the album through their Vh1Shop, so that may factor into their chart too. I didn't see a link to send in a question, so I don't know how to find out for sure.

I was wondering whether searching on the vh1 main page helps them in any way. I've stopped using the links posted here to get to the video but seaching LH's from the opening page just in case the search is counted as a "hit." I basically try to click on anything LH on the VH1 site at least a couple of times a day.

(Wish I could do more often but my work computer needs a flash plug in to even see the VH1 site and I can't exactly call tech support and tell them I need to have flash upgraded so I can go to VH1. ;D So until something that I need for work doesn't function--I'm stuck only being able to help from home!)

Well, I sometimes sit here on my bed with the laptop and set the videos to "play", turn down the computer sound, and watch TV. lol I hope the plays count!

ACK! Lh has now moved down to #13 on the Artist Boards Charts! We're holding steady on the other charts.

Let's keep working the Top 20 Video Countdown vote! If we can get them on that show, then we will see a rise in their numbers!

Bad news, all. MC&Lh has fallen down to #59 on the Top Artists Chart. We're also back down to #10 on the Top Album Chart and down to #13 on the Top Artists Boards chart.

Let's get to clicking. How can we get more people to click?

I had trouble with VH1.com yesterday. Everything seems fine today. I'm doing my best to help out and bump threads. I also rated the album.

I couldn't get the Top 20 page to come up for me yesterday or the videos. I even had problems with the photo gallery! I'm on DSL now, so I shouldn't be having that many problems. I think the site must have been getting a lot of traffic yesterday.

I don't know, but we've dropped down to #62 on the Top Artists Charts. We're holding at #13 on the artists boards, and we're back at #9 on Top Album.

I'm not sure why the Artist chart drop was so big.

Here's how Lh stands in the Vh1 charts as of right now:

Artist: #61

Album: #2

Message Board: #23

We are so close to the #1 spot on the Top Album chart!! Wouldn't it be cool to go to the Top Album chart and see our boys name in the #1 spot and see their pic at the top of the page?

Just a recap of previous suggestions for getting Lh to the top at Vh1, plus some new ones. Do what you can. Every little bit helps.

1. Set www.vh1.com/artists/az/lovehammer/artist.jhtml as your homepage on your web browser. (In Firefox, go to Tools -> Options -> General; in Internet Explorer, go to Tools -> Internet Options -> General.) Each time you open a web browser, you'll create a hit on the Lh Vh1 site. It's easy to open several windows and create a lot of hits all at once. (If you already have one window open, just use "ctrl" + N to open a new one.)

2. Send the link (www.vh1.com/artists/az/lovehammer/artist.jhtml) to all your friends and ask them to check it out. Even if they only click it out of curiosity, it's still a click!

3. Add a link to the Vh1 Lh page to your signature at other boards. Try this: [*url=http://www.vh1.com/artists/az/lovehammer/artist.jhtml]Check this out![/url] (minus the *).

4. If you're going to buy the CD online, try buying it through the Vh1 shop. That should help them on the Vh1 Album Charts.

5. Post on the Top 20 board. This will get messages to scroll across the bottom of the Top 20 Voting page.

6. Write in "Trees" by Marty Casey and Lovehammers as a Wildcard vote on the Top 20 Video Countdown. It can't hurt to vote, and if they get enough votes they may air the Live@Vh1 videos.

7. Post the following code as bulletins in your myspace.
