Curious as to the age groups that are following the Lovehammers. This may help with promoting the band.

You probably should have made it 16-20 and 21-30. 21 is an option on two different votes. I think Hammerheads are a pretty diverse group. From little kids to little old ladies.

Actually, I have this on the other site also. The average is over 30. I think the majority of people heard of them through RS. I think most of the younger crowd are into MTV and the dance stuff. This is the groups I dont think they are getting out to. I really think, it either the teenie bobbers(aging myself) or the older rockers. I dont think they are getting out to the main stream.

At the M&G/Concert I attended I was surprised at the diversity of LH fans. And also with the petition or looking at the LH or Marty MySpace pages. All the Hammerheads aren't necessarily reflected by looking at just the active message board users. A good number of fans I talked to while in the M&G line only lurk on the boards if they come here at all.
I totally agree with your point about the MTV crowd, and that's one of the reasons I want a Trees video so bad and any TV exposure, and also something in the music mags.

I absolutley agree. I think there is a really big market out there that they are just not getting. So much of their likability is their stage presence, or "it" factor and people are not seeing that. I think a video, would help them tremendously.

Teenagers here in the Philippines are more into hip hop and RnB and those shown on MTV. I noticed that our generation (21-30) are more into rock... we know a great band/song when we hear one.

We did the 90s....obviously the LH appeal to us all! Age is a concept and a state of mind.....

I'm definitely in 'the oldies' category and proud of it We know great music when we hear it, not like these kids that like the one hit wonders and crap that they play on Oz radio day after day, gotta have my MP3 player with me in the car or I tune in to the Golden Oldies station to here CCR, Beatles, Elvis, Abba, Bowie, Blondie, B 52's etc. Can't wait til LOVEHAMMERS hit Australia, they are gonna blow everyone AWAY. Hel

16-21 here! I don't think LH should be played on MTV, they are way too good for that, I say VH1 all the way. Anyone I know that watches MTV and listens to the music that they play is pretty much an idiot and has pretty bad taste in music overall. Then again, I'm totally biased and don't like mainstream trends very much. Plus, VH1 reaches a larger and more diverse age group!
