Billy mentioned in the Klite radio interview that the next single may be Hold On, but they would do some research before deciding (or something to that effect). Shelly has started a poll at the Lh board. Go here: www.lovehammersforum.com/viewtopic.php?p=78173#78173and vote for your choice for the next single. The guys may take our opinions into consideration. :~)

My vote is for Straight As An Arrow. I'll vote as soon as the other board is back up.
I would've loved to have seen them do Call Of Distress as their next single, but the new version doesn't have the emotion of the original on MOMM.

I remember when the CD came out Mitch Al said that Casualty would be second single. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Ya just never can guess what's going to happen or not happen where our Hammers are concerned.

My nephew lives in Greenville, SC and he was listeing to his radio late one night last week (to one of the few stations that playes Lovehammers). I converted him several weeks ago so he knows thier music. He said that they played Hold On. He has not heard it since though.

Yeah, I remember that too, but I wonder how much of that was his wishful thinking. I'm sure that idea has been batted around. I hope they pick a song that reflects their music the best. Something that rocks. Casualty almost sounds too Top 40/pop-ish. Tunnel or Straight as an Arrow would be good picks, IMO

We've seen Casualty, Hold On, Straight As An Arrow, and The Tunnel (and possibly more) out there on playlists. Nice to see some independent thought by the stations who've gone ahead and selected other tracks.
My personal choice would be Straight As An Arrow although Casualty could just slide right into the sound of a lot of stations .

I think that any of the songs would be an awesome second single. But if I had to choose I would probably pick Rain on the Brain or Casualty.

Casualty is good as a single! I love Wait for No One and Rain on the Brain too, but Casualty is newer

"Casualty" is a safer bet for a radio single, but I vaguely remember the CD coming out with stickers on the plastic saying, "Featuring the hits 'TREES' and 'CLOUDS'" or something to that effect. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm much more a "Straight as an Arrow" kinda girl, and I wish more stations would add it to their rotations. I did hear from a friend that in San Francisco, Calif., "Straight as an Arrow" has been in a LOT of rotations for college stations. But alas, many college stations (SF STATE for sure) lose their signal once you leave campus. Too bad, eh? But hey, it's a start to getting that key 18-35 age group to the record store.
