LH need our assistance!!!!!

Please take the time to send an e-mail or post something up at Street Scene's MySpace if you haven't done so already.

We need to make some noise for this year and/or the future. If you don't feel like writing a whole lot, you don't have to. Just write in the band's name as a suggestion for this year's line-up.

I just posted this over on the Van Halen site ()

I cut out the entertainment section in the newspaper for my area on the West Coast of Florida.
I am in the process of sending all venues, large and small. copies of quotes from other papers about the Lovehammers, plus pictures and mentioned the album, anything I could get abuot the Lovehammers.

Tomorrow I am buying the East Coast paper and doing the same thing. A lot of work and stuff but who knows who might be taking notice. Gotta get those guys out there, all over the place.

How about everyone doing the same thing in their state??

To everyone who has sent in a request to have LH play this festival...thank you soooo much. I am sure whoever is gonna play at this event has already been booked (since they are supposed to announce the line up the end of this month.)

This thread had over 500 views so if only 10% of those that read it actually sent in a request, that is still a HUGE #, and lets not forget all the requests from the LH board...hopefully this will be enough to book the guys..just know...if it is meant to be, it will be, and that we did all we could.

Lets all cross our fingers that they show up on the bill...
If anyone checks the website and notices if they have the line up posted...let us know here.

Line up has been announced and Lovehammers are not on it.

According to Kimberly87, the line up does not include LH, but it does say "And others"

So, don't give up hope.

K87 is gonna make some calls today and see if there is any other information.

There's still a chance this could happen!

Yes not to be discouraged, every year they add more and more bands to the lineup as they go...this is just the first announcement of what they have. Their website is still a work in progress and so is the lineup so everyone who continues to help out--thank you!

OK...well I contacted the guy @ San Diego Street Scene, to see if he could confirm if the "and more" listed on the line up could possibly be "MCLH" and this is what he said.

We have a couple of bands that we have to wait until they play in June
before we announce their names ... Otherwise we are booked... Thanks

So this really doesn't say much...but I guess until we hear it from LH or from the SDSS, we'll neva know....Lets keep positive thoughts.

Maybe just hopeful thinking, but maybe they are sending someone to "Day in the Zone" on June 11th to check out MCLH to see if they want them to play...this is just me being positive...
