LH need our assistance!!!!!

This is our mission...

There is a music festival, and the LH are trying to get on the bill.
This is the SAN DIEGO STREET SCENE it takes place August 4th & 5th in San Diego.

There is a place on their site where you can request a band to play at this year's upcoming festival. So lets start hammering them with requests for MCLH to play at the festival this year.
We all want more LH shows and we all want the guys to get more recognition and more fans...so this is what we have to do to make those things happen.

The line-up won't be announced until the end of May so we still have time, but NO time to waste.

This is freaky! My husband was just saying tonight that we need to go to San Diego and visit his old Navy stomping grounds. I'm definitely doing this!!! It will give me something to do and enjoy while he's going down memory lane. Thanks kim!

Hey...I just pulled this from the music Festival's my-space page as well..if you are having problems e-mailing them from your server, try visiting the my-space page...maybe you can make the request that way instead... this is what is says there.

STREET SCENE 06 will take place August 4 - 5 in San Diego! A lineup annoucnement is expected in May and tickets will go on sale shortly after that. We encourage band suggestions in our blog and really do take them seriously. STREET SCENE 06 is gearing up to be a massive music weekend in San Diego. We hope to see you all here in August !

Okay, so I think I just requested them to be there for Street Scene 2005 and 2006! Not usually a techy tard, but got a little "click happy" I was so excited!

Will keep requesting for '06 - thanks Kim for the heads up! Great place to get hammered in August!

This was not from anything posted here from Dino...It is something we had discussed, that would hopefully help with getting them on the bill.

Please send in your request either by e-mail or through their myspace page blog. Thanks everyone. Lets do our best. Even if you are unable to attend, please at least request it once so our Lovehammer loving voices will be heard. ha ha.

Marty Casey was the audience favorite on Rockstar:INXS because he has incredible talent and total Rock Star stage presence. The Lovehammers have been a Chicago/Midwest secret for over 15 years – and by opening for INXS and with their newly released self-titled album they are gaining new fans all over the World! Turns out all 4 members of the band have what it takes to really rock and appeal to fans of all ages.

There are a lot of fans in California and the Pacific Northwest that would travel to San Diego if Lovehammers were a part of the Steet Scene lineup – in fact, fans have already been known to travel from all over the United States as well as from other countries to see Lovehammers performances.

Please add Marty Casey and Lovehammers (Epic Records) to the lineup for the 2006 San Diego Street Scene.

Hey...eveyone will notice the change of the name of the thread...I changed this because we need to do this for LH. I should not have listed this as something for Dino specifically. But this is still the same mission.

Yes, I really hope this can happen too...I know we have all been in a funk lately since there have been so few shows available to us, so I think that anytime we have a chance to help put another one out there for whoever can attent is what we ALL want.

I really really hope this happens.
Just think of all those poor souls out there that are unaware that their next favorite band is out there, and they just don't know it yet. We need to help them...open their eyes a bit! Give them a real show!

I suggested the lovehammers for the Calf.festival sent them a long email on why Lovehammers would be a great band to add to there venue.If all the bands that they our are going to be there along with the Lovehammers[if ask]that will be a great show.
