I helped to create a new fan today! While out at a (work) training session, we had to tell a "secret" mine was that I love Rock music. This started some discussion, so I started gushing about MCLH. One of the gals at the session had seen INXS in Feb, but missed most of MCLH, only saw Ring of Fire & "loved it" - I had my handy dandy MP3 player, and let her listen to the cd, she's going to get it! Yeah! Deb

I have HAMMERED so many people that I think I need a box load of the Hammerhead CD,s. Latest one was today. ANytime I meet anyone I talk about Marty and the Lovehammers. if they like rock, I then give them an unwrapped CD. Not one person has complained. They have all loved the CD. Now,on the way home I have to stop and buy about 5 more for friends who have not heard of Marty and the Lovehammers. Once in awhile I have to complain to the stores when they cannot come up witht he CD!!!!! Today I am going to BEST BUY, they usually can be counted on to have them. What I want to know is WHEN they are going to make the next one? Jean

my daughter enlisted a friend to help her make her RotB video for the contest and after an hour, the friend said, "I have to get that song." So she went on-line to a not-to-be-named file sharing site and said she would download it. My daughter yelled at her, "The band won't get any money if you do that. It's not cool. You have to buy it." Her repentant friend changed her tune, went to HMV and bought the CD. Hurrah!

I love converting people into LH fans!
I'm fairly young (18), and when I tell people I love this great band, they just give me blank stares until I mention Marty ("ya know, the runner-up on 'Rockstar: INXS'?") and then they say, "Oh, they probably suck. And their name is terrible!"
But a few days ago, an acquaintance of mine who likes "hard rock" (KORN, Limp Bizkit, and a bunch of other stuff I personally can't STAND) sent me an email telling me how he listened to some of their "L'Strange" era stuff and liked it. But he still said they needed a name change. I made a fan (sorta).
