Thank you from video #32 entry

Hi Everyone

I am making my first post, to thank every single person who voted for my video (# 32) in the Marty Casey "Rain On the Brain" video contest.

At first I was disappointed that I didn't win, because finding video clips to match lyp synching to that song was so hard, and then to get the music just right...it would have been easier to do a story, and not worry about the beat. But no video is "easy" to make-- and after realizing that 110 complete strangers voted for my video as one of their picks makes me really happy. You 110 people made all that work worthwhile, and I am just logging on to say "thank you, thank you, thank you" to all of you!

I also want to congratulate the winners of both guitars, as well as all the others who gave it a shot.

Thank YOU for making the video and for posting. It was so so SO hard to only choose three videos to vote for! When I finally got my "short list" it still had EIGHT on it! :-D

Yes Kelly, so glad you did this, and Welcome to the Boards here. I loved ALL the videos, and still go and look at them. I'm just hoping we do this again, allot of talent out there, and its great to meet new people. I personally did not do any video's but I sure enjoyed watching them all...Nice to meet ya....Nancy

#32 was totally one of my absolute favorites!!! It definitely got one of my three votes. Excellent job, kaili!

should be proud of all the votes!! You put alot of hard work
into it!!

Thank you Chanvre for your vote--it feels so good when someone else
resonates with your art. I chose to submit a literal representation of
the song because it's something I relate to. I knew it was
risky--showing a real brain split down the middle probably grossed out a
few people. So many different ways of showing love/loss/pain.

raeski--ah...the hard work. You must be an artist too. When I made this video, I felt like Robert Frost in his poem "Stopping By Woods".

"The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep."

The votes made my "stop" worth it.
