So, DH and I are vacationing in Corolla, NC...beach week with the family, you know. We were getting tired of all my sister's kids (don't tell her--we love them, don't get us wrong) so we were flipping through a travel mag and saw a comedy club advertised. We didn't know the comedians, just went...thought it would be fun. It was The Comedy Club in Duck, NC. www.comedyclubobx.com
We are sitting in our chairs, nursing our beers, waiting for the show to start and listening to what seemed like random music from the loudspeakers. When all of the sudden, Trees started playing. We nearly (ok, I nearly) flip out. DH and I are Hammerheads, but apparently the owners of the comedy club are too! We stopped the waitress and asked her, she said it was a CD the club owner made. Of course, he wasn't there that night.
Just this was my first experience hearing Lovehammers in public where I wasn't the one to put it on! I take this as a good sign.
Also on the CD--an INXS song (with Michael) and Gretchen Wilson's "Redneck Woman"
along with other stuff, nothing special. But I just wanted to report this Lovehammers "sighting"
