Thanks guys, is going to be JUST as cool to imagine their faces when they open those boxes, and knowing they came from fans of the LOVEHAMMERS! Is all very good news, in the midst of war, we made something small that is good!

I got an email from a platoon leader in Iraq. It was very quick but sweet. These packages are so appreciated. He asked me if I wanted a link to a video of all the guys. I said yes I'd love to see it. I haven't heard back from him yet--I know they have much more pressing things on their minds. It was so nice for him to write so quickly!

I recieved the package you sent. I appreciate it allthough I havent
listened
to the CD's yet, I will soon.
Things are pretty good here. I am in Kuwait, if you didnt know. It is a
pretty decent post, there are 2 gyms, a pool, and a small theater, I
usually
go to the gym every night just for something to do. Mostly the big
problem
here is boardom and overeating. They call this place 'Camp Cupcake'
because
it isnt in the center of the battle.
A little about me, I am with an engineer unit, I fix air conditioners.
I
actually live up by Rockford, IL. But I have family in Anna, Joneshero
(spelled wrong?)I am only telling you about my family because the
address on
your box came from Anna, IL. Well, I really dont know else to say,
besides

I've been sending boxes to soldiers in Iraq for over a year now. I got the idea from our Street Team thread. Each box I send goodies as well as a MCLH CD and a DVD of Rock Star: INXS. The soldiers are so grateful and nice! I get emails and letters & cards of thank you.
