I just turned 35. My birthday was yesterday (same day as Marty's!), and I feel a little out of my comfort zone because A) I've never posted anything to any message board ever before, and B) I've never been a member of anyone's fan club before! But I gotta say, there is just something so captivating about Marty, and it is a pleasure to be a new member of this happy following!

Hi! I'm a huge music fan especially music from the 80's as to me that is the best and was a fun time. ;)I became a fan of Marty's from the first moment I saw him. He is everything I love in a musician with his intense performances and he is such a cutie! I love going to concerts and hope to see Marty and the Lovehammers asap!

Just wanted to say HI! I'm 41 from central IL and wish I had known who the Lovehammers were before RS. Tuned in Week 3 and couldn't take my eyes off him since. Marty Casey is an extreme talent and I haven't turned my head to look at another man in the last 16 years, no kidding. Needless to say his picture is on my desktop and I can't stop watching all the videos. Will enjoy this board. Thanks to the mods for a great idea!

Hi, My name is Pamela. I live in Michigan. Just bought the Lovehammers CD after becoming a huge fan of Marty's during Rock Star: INXS. I downloaded "Trees" and can never get the song out of my head. My 2 year old and 4 year old run around the house singing it. We're all hooked. Can't wait to see more of Marty.

Hi everyone! I was so happy to see this new messageboard. I love the site, and I'm constantly watching the videos on it, since I neglected to TIVO any of the shows until the 1st Trees episode! I also missed out on several episodes in the middle, due to a cross-country move, so this site was a real life-saver! It's great to share with all you fellow Marty-lovers (Kool-Aid drinkers??). It's nice to know I'm not the only one with this "obsession," shall we call it? Nice to meet all of you!

I have been a diehard MARTY CASEY fan since the first ROCKSTAR show. He knocked the air from me from the first song he did. I have been rockin' for a lot of years and haven't seen anyone that got my attention, like Marty, for a long time. I'm very glad this site was started. I can keep up with everything here and am glad to meet you all

Hi to Sunita from Nottingham, I'm from New Zealand and having the same problem with MSN Music. Waiting for a reply from them at the moment to see if there is a solution. If there is I'll post it here for you.
I just can't wait to get my copy of "Murder on my mind" that I've ordered (will have to wait a little though as the NZ cpy have to get it from the US first). Just wish that MSN Music would work and I could download "Trees" to get me through!!!

I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself a little. My real name is Stephanie and I am a huge Hammerhead fan. Just found this site and thought I would join. I love turning up the LoveHammers in my car and singing at the top of my lungs to the tunes. They are soooo awesome and I am just so happy that Marty was on INXS so that the LoveHammers were introduced to so many new people! I also think I am a little obsessed with Marty because he looks a lot like my fiance' except he (Marty) is also a musician which makes me swoon!
Anyway, Back to my intro, I live and play in Miami and love to go vacationing whenever and whereever I can!
I have always been a rock 'n roll chick and all I can say is that I hope this show(INXS) and this intrest in Marty and the LoveHammers sparks the rock industry back into a frenzy like it used to be.
Continue Rockin' everyone!
Stephanie

Greetings fellow Casey Fans. Screename here is "Luvhammers" and I live in suburb of Chicago in NW Indiana. I anxiously await the opportunity of watching the Lovehammers play in Chicago before INXS so I can leave before INXS plays (Boycott). As all of you, I was shocked at the outcome of INXS but when I heard the new song JD and they sang I was so happy for Marty. Honestly it was awful. I started the show as a watcher and came out as a huge fan and for me that just doesn't happen. My brother was in music lived in Hollywood, CA the whole nine yards and I feel I have a good bearing of talent. Marty Casey just drew me in with his unique style and still does.

Hi, I am XSivelyHammered here and on some other forums. Yes, I am xsively hammered over Marty Casey and the LH's. As for RS:INXS, I didn't start taping the show until week 6. Such a geek fangirl. One would think a wise, happily married 38 yo would not get so enamored with a Rockstar. I blame it on the Rockstar:INXS camera operators. If they wouldn't have given Marty so many intense close ups, I wouldn't have enjoyed his performances. NOT!!
Marty had me at "Take Me Out." I know that INXS thought his performance was manic, but I loved the energy he exudes onstage. He makes you want to enjoy the music. Every performance was exhilirating to watch. Marty knows how to perform each song. It is obvious he spends time thinking about the song and then transcends it onstage. I find myself preferring his versions of Mr. Brightside, HMBOMT, I, Alone and Creep. The last 2 are songs I never would have really listened to before.
Music has always been a mood booster for me. RS:INXS came along to give a boost to the summertime blahs. I wasn't the hugest fan of INXS. I do own Shabooh/Shabbah, The Swing and Kick on vinyl. I have the Best of INXS on CD. I enjoyed their style, videos and funky tunes. I am more of an Indie/Alternative/New Wave/Punk/Goth girl but my tastes run very eclectic. They have to be because my DH is a Folk lover (and is trying to tolerate other music in his house).
I didn't spend much time in the 90's listening to the current fare. Too busy with family obligations and such. Having a 12YO in the house demanding tunes to be downloaded for her has been a huge education for me. We are having so much fun contrasting/comparing our likes and dislikes. She is exposing me to current artists while I show her some oldies but goodies. We both love Marty and the Lovehammers and have downloaded or bought all we can find of them. Our iPod is full and we sing "Trees" or "Eyes Can't See" all the time.
So Marty, thank you for sharing your passion with us this summer. Take your energy, your willingness to experiment, your soft and "screamy" voice and blow us all away!
PLEASE tour ASAP. I believe you toured here (with Cake) in FL in April, and I could kick myself for missing that date. I almost went. Didn't know who the Lovehammers were at that time. And couldn't talk that Folk lovin' husband to go. He promises to take me next time.
