Hello Marty Fans! It would be great if everyone stopped by here first to introduce themselves before they started posting all over the board. Also be sure to read the Forum Guidelines.
Thank you.

Hi All.... Marty fan from a number of other boards (known as "Cupomarty" elsewhere). So glad that you have created this site and look forward to contributing as well as keeping up on news re: Mr. Peaches et al. Have been in withdrawl since Tues evening so if anyone knows of any RS:INXS Anonymous meetings, raise your hand please. I am still trying to wrap my head around the fact that I won't be seeing that lovely face on my screen three x week. It's over; it's really over... But, I console myself with the thought and knowledge that it's on to MUCH bigger and BETTER things for our dear conductor. Ahem... And just to make this introduction complete, I'm 39 (older Marty... Hear that? ) and this whole show/reality TV thing was a first for me. I was disappointed in INXS for doing it and I have to admit that I first tuned in to witness the cheese factor. And then I saw Take Me Out. Uhuh... He had me at the first sighting. And since....well, Marty has made me remember why I loved music so much earlier in my life and he has made me question why the heck I've let it go as a priority. Life got in the way I suppose, but to make a long story shorter (okay, well, less long anyway), I am back on it big time and I have a major thing for the LH music and the whole "Rockstar" that already was before he evah stepped on that stage: Mr. Marty Casey. So if you're reading this Marty, congratulations on lighting a fire under a whole new section of the population and please keep doing what it is you do beacause whatever it is.... You're worth every moment of the fame and fortune you're about to enjoy.

Hi, everyone. I feel like I'm one of the first ones to arrive at a party and am standing around all awkward with a big glass of ginger ale that I'm wishing would morph into a big glass of something more potent ... but I don't feel like getting all WACKY before the party really takes off.
Anyway ... HUGE Marty Casey fan here. I, like, I'm sure, many other Marty fans, never knew this magnificent, glorious, outrageously talented, gorgeous, flexible fellow existed until RS:INXS. I hadn't planned to watch that show, because, really, "reality shows" just are not my thing. But after much wheedling from my mom and sister -- "You should be watching this! When you watch, you'll know why!" -- I decided, "What the #*$&" and started watching.
And immediately knew why they said I should be watching.
There he was: Mr. Marty Casey. Blond and lean and long. Marty in all his flailing, wailing glory. Marty, the reason why I never went out on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday night for the duration of the show's run.
To say I am enchanted by Marty is perhaps the grandest understatement I could make. I know this sounds sappy, but man oh man oh man, Marty moves me to my core.
I am going through major Marty withdrawal since RS:INXS's finale, but fortunately I have all of his performances on my iPod. And let me tell you, I don't know how I got through my daily NYC subway rides and two-hour workouts before this.
I could go on and on. And I already have. So I'll stop now, and go find a lampshade for my head. I'll be the one dancing to "Creep" in the corner.

Hi All, New member here! I love Marty's talent. OK, confession time. I'm an "old" lady of 49! I still rock, even in my old age!! LOL Marty just blew me away with his talent! It was an honor to watch him week after week and see him grow to an even MORE talented performer. In a small way, I am happy to see he didn't win. He has toooo much talent for INXS. I'm looking forward to watching him more in the future. Marty, you rock this old lady's world!

Hi, My name is Brandy and I'm a Martyaholic <Hi Brandy> I am a 26-year old Atlantan, and I have been desperately searching the boards for every taste of Rockstar and Marty info I can find since the finale Tuesday. At least before the show was over, I knew when I could see my peaches again, but now I have to seek out interviews and newspaper reports on the web. Like many, I (not being from Chicago) knew nothing of Marty or the Lovehammers . But once I was introduced first to Marty on RS, and then the Lovehammers via their website, I was hooked. I am really looking forward to seeing you on tour (or at a restaurant of your choice should you desire a date ). I hope you'll come through Atlanta, but if not, I will travel....

Hello fellow fans, Jubileee here. Technically I'm an older woman (well, only four months older than our lovely peaches), one of the many who love Marty, darn it. Wasn't sure I'd like this new show Rockstar INXS and *gasp* was NOT liking Marty after the first show. I know, I know. I have since seen the way. All it took was seeing "Take Me Out". The moment that hat flew off his head and he started conducting it was over. I was a Marty fan. No others could compare in my eyes.
Since then I have purchased L'Strange, Murder on my Mind and the Live/Raw DVD. I'm hooked, and Marty is my crack. I hope he gets his butt in the recording studio ASAP with the Lovehammers so we can get some new stuff. Also, that INXS tour better hit Toronto! Although, I'd prefer the Lovehammers to do some of their own shows in smaller venues. Not a big fan of the INXSers.

Hey everyone, my name's Traci. I'm 28, from PA, married for almost 3 1/2 years.
I only became a fan of Marty's through RS, but I am so glad I had the opportunity to 'find' him through that! I can't get "Trees" out of my head, and his version of WYWH is excellent as well.
Don't know what else to say, except hope to talk with you soon!

Another Oklahoman here. My name's Cyndie and I'm 41. I didn't start watching the show until about the third episode. I didn't even know it was on tv until I was flipping through the channels one night and came across it. Even though part of me wanted Marty to win the main part of me didn't. I don't watch reality shows. The only one I ever watched was the 2nd season of AI with Clay and Ruben. Because of that show it proved you can be more successful by not winning. I look forward to seeing Marty and the Lovehamers in concert. Hopefully they'll be in the central part of the country more then once since I'll gladly travel to see Marty in person.

Hi everyone!! So nice to be here with other Marty fans. I am another "old" lady Marty fan, at 49, ;D but the spirit in me is still young and rocking!! Marty wowed me from week one and I jumped on the Marty train and rode it all the way to the finale!! Around week 8, I started downloading all of his performances. My husband happened to catch me playing the download of WYWH, one day, and he was like...WOW...who is that guy??!! So I had the pleasure of introducing him to all of Marty's great performances. By the time I was finished...he was hooked!! In fact he ended up stealing copies of all my downloads to put on his computer. I didn't even have to tell him about the Lovehammers, he found them himself, and he was blown away by them too. It was awesome...he became an instant fan!! We were both a bit disappointed with the outcome of the show, but we also knew, that Marty was just too damn good for INXS, and so a part of us was also celebrating, that he was going to continue on with the Lovehammers. We just cant wait now, to see what happens next. I never thought I would get into this Rock Star show, as much as I did. I was kind of soured on all of this reality TV singing competition stuff, after 3 seasons of AI. What I thought was going to be a huge mistake, when I caved, and watched it the first night, turned out to be one of the best decisions I had ever made, because I found Marty...wonderful wonderful Marty!! Thank you so much for the invitation to join this forum and I look forward to sharing the Marty love with all of you.

Hi everyone! My name is Eileen and I am 45 years old. I love Marty as well and know what everyone means when they say they are going through withdrawal not being able to see him every week, because that is exactly how I feel! I so looked forward to seeing that show every week! I hope that they will come to Ottawa when they start touring! My daughter and I will be first in line! I still can't get "Trees" out of my mind!
