Hi Everyone, Thought I'd just check in. I'm from southern Illinois, so feel like I'm practically a neighbor. I never watch TV, so imagine my surprise at becoming completely hooked on this show! My sister is the reality TV junkie, and we took a short vacation together during week 3. We're in a hotel room, and she says, "You HAVE to watch this!" She was all about JD, and of course that was probably his worst performance, so I thought she was NUTS, and went back to my computer. And then came Marty............and he did "Lithium".............and oh my.......... Well, that was it for me. I was hooked for the rest of the time. Ummm, addicted is probably more like it. My kids think I'm too old to be a groupie, and I have to agree, but I will follow this man's career. I'd like to know when he might perform in or near St. Louis--but I'll gladly come to Chicago too. Hey, thanks for putting this website together.

Hi Everyone! Since watching RSINXS I have become a big fan of both Marty and the Lovehammers. I downloaded all of the Marty songs from the show and bought MOMM online. Marty is a true artist and a real inspiration. I look forward to chatting with other fans and hearing about Marty and the Lovehammers' news through this site. To the developers: Thanks for setting up this great site! It is so thorough and well-organized.

Hello all, I'm Jody from Colorado. I unlike most of you didn't catch Marty until about halfway through Rockstar - sometimes I'm a little slow to catch on to really good things. Once I caught on to what I'd been missing, well you all probably understand. I am also a Martyholic. I made sure that I was home from work in time from then on.
I'm a little older too, 55, music has and always will be one of the joys in my life. Marty gives me more reason to love it. I am currently waiting for Murder on My Mind to arrive from Amazon and then life will get better. I'm not waiting very patiently.

Hi everyone, I'm Carolyn. I am a member of several other groups and forums dedicated to Marty and the Lovehammers. Some of the other groups know me as Chayla. I love live music so Rockstar INXS was right up my alley when I heard about the show. I was eager to hear the new talent but I never expected Marty Casey. From the time I saw them walk onto the tv screen I knew Marty was going to show me something. That first night when he performed for the first time I knew I was hooked on the show and wanted to see more of what he could do. After Take Me Out...I was in love (LOL). He reminds me of why music is great and why I have always always turned to music when I needed a little something extra in my day. The music a person listens to, writes, and performs can tell you a lot about them, I believe. Anyway, I truly miss Marty Casey on my tv 3 days a week. It's going to be awesome when the Lovehammers get that record deal, and they will. I'll be fighting a lot of the ladies on this forum to be first in line for tickets to those shows, lol. Marty, you're truly the best, your passion for what you do shows in your every word. You are a rare breed, you will shine. Carolyn Fralin Northern Virginia

Hi, I was lucky enough to be interested in watching INXS this summer (otherwise I would have never been introduced to the music that is Marty). Anyway, the first time I saw Marty, he was my pick for the winner. Every week he kept drawing me in with his intensity and power. He gave every song his unique touch. And such a classy and sweet guy he was. Anyway, I'm now hooked and cannot wait for more. And since he's practically in my back yard, maybe he'll play around Chicago and I'll get to witness him first hand. And boy did I love how he sang Don't Change with INXS. If they really wanted to go into a different direction, they would have picked Marty hands down. And what an amazing group they would have been. He is just mesmerizing to watch and has such stage present. He fills up the stage. But to tell you the truth, I think if they would have picked him, he would have been the whole show and they would have just been his back-up band. That's the way I see it anyway. So, they played it safe and picked the other person who makes them sound like re-fabricated INXS. Whatever--now Marty can really shine on his own. Just love him!! Well, I guess I didn't really didn't introduce myself much, but at least you know I am an avid female fan that lives in the Chicago area.

Hi everyone, going by Trees for obvious reason. Not too sure where I am in the line for "I Love Marty". Didn't see this thread until now Just too darn excited notice Cindy had this post down at the bottom. She sure has been hard at work on the website upgrades. Thanks Cindy I'm Canadian (eh!) and I don't speak or want to speak French. I live on a beautiful Island between Vancouver and Vancouver Island up in British Columbia. All it took was seeing "Take Me Out". The moment that hat flew off his head and he started conducting it was over. I was a Marty fan. No others could compare in my eyes. That's all it took for me too Glad to be here with people of same mind. Good to see Schoolhouserock here. Hopefully she can get off the floor LOL and help with a name for us Fans as a whole. Post has been started already

Ode to Marty: Lazily flipping through the channels one night, while consuming my 4th-ish glass of wine, I stumbled upon Rockstar INXS. I was bored. A bit tipsy. Uninterested in seeing another reality show contest, for god's sake. Ok, so I didn't turn the channel, but still. The latest issue of Maxim was trying to hold my attention when, alas, who shall appear but The.Marty.Casey. I'd glanced up to see who the HELL had such a powerful voice, and turned up the sound just in time to enjoy a kick-ass rendition of Take Me Out. I called dibs on him as the winner immediately. An end of the summer later, I realize now that his fate has been sealed. In the most deliciously perfect way, of course. As I sit in the trees with murder on my mind, I patiently wait for the Lovehammers to take over the world.

Hello Marty Fans! It would be great if everyone stopped by here first to introduce themselves before they started posting all over the board. Also be sure to read the Forum Guidelines. Thank you. Hello all! :-) I am a Martyaholic and I just adore Marty although I am not worthy! The rest of the group is pretty hot too and the whole Lovehammer group is definitely one amazing set of cool cats with amazing talent! Where have you guys been??? You are long overdue in this stagnant music market, We have the same old garbage being regurgitated at us every day and then all of a sudden RS:INXS comes along and the world's greatest secret is revealed- The LoveHammers via Marty Casey! Marty really lights my fire! I think of him as many things like the Dresden Doll, Lestat, etc. My imagnation runs wild. And then there is that beautiful music you all create together. WOW. I am a 33 yr old female is Seattle, I sing for fun, I run an animal rescue/shelter out of my home. Music and animals are pretty much my passions in life, besides my faith.I was rooting for MiG , Marty or Jordis (she is such an inspiration to me) to win, but I think in the end things ended up as we WIccans believe fate would have it. For some reason this was best for Marty. I have to accept that possibly me wanting him to win was a bad idea in the grand scheme of things. ANyway, I am glad he is back with his band and I hope to hear some more butt-kicking tunes from you all! HAMMER TIME!

Hi All.. Just thought I'd drop a line to say hello and intro myself. I'm Kafi. I'm 28 and live in Phoenix Arizona. I got into the Rockstar show a little late in the game. A friend got me to sit and watch it and had been hooked ever since. I thought Marty was outstanding and he definitely was my favorite on the show. Now that the show is over, I look forward to getting to know about the band that he is in currently and their music.

HEY ALL! Seeing a few familiar names around here, great to see that! I'm known as "hoodley" on the Rockstar MSN boards, and on some other message boards. I'm Audrey, 34, from Toronto. I'm single (and qualify as an older woman, right? ;D), no kids except my 18 year old Kitter Cat. I'm a pseudo-project manager. I love Marty's intensity on stage the most, it's what made me notice him amongst all the rest. Then I noticed his eyes and fell hook line and sinker. I love him for his offstage personality - thoughtful, soft spoken, mature... seems like a lovely man. And then I love how he transforms on stage and the intensity and the way he commands the audience Nice to meet y'all!
