Hi Fellow Marty Fans!

It is so nice to be able to meet and chat with other fans of Marty Casey. I was afraid I was going to have some serious withdrawals, and I'm happy to see that I don't have to go through that.

Marty is a true Rockstar! He was consistent throughout the "Audtion" and never had a bad performance. As a matter of fact, he just continued to "Blow us away" week after week.

I really am looking forward to whatever he does in the future and being able to come here and discuss our man Marty.

Howdy, folks. Looks like an awesome group of Loyalists here of both Marty and Lovehammers. Viva la revolucion!!!

I'm Chris or fugi, take your pick. I had been active in the local D.C. metro unsigned band scene back in the mid 90's before moving back down to Florida 9 years ago. Back then the buzz about Lovehammers had already begun, but not seriously enough to significantly penetrate the Beltway corridor just yet.

During my tenure up north I was adopted by the former powerhouse, Tommy and the Love Tribe (RIP, brother Spin). Rehearsals, gigs, recording sessions, and inner-circle-only-matters were just a few of the privileges bestowed upon me. I witnessed for far too long how badly the corporate music machine attempts to grind away at the soul of the people to whom they promise the unfathomable. The outcomes can be devastating even when the execs do deliver.

My gut instincts tell me that Marty dodged a humongous bullet in not getting picked as INXS' new frontman. Ask any musician why they are passionate about their craft. The first answer from the serious will always be that it's about the music. Same principle applies respectively to other fields; medical: healing, clergy: ministering, education: teaching, etc.

The upshot here is that the music industry has become such a lot of profiteering gluttons that it's up to us as a group to help restore the fundamental ethics. The first one always is that it's about the music. Sure, bills need to get paid, but not at the expense of people's health, sanity, and souls.

Please forgive the rambling discourse. I may not post often, but I hope my novellas will be welcome reading nonetheless.

Hi All! I'm from Tampa and a HUGE Marty fan and a recent Lovehammers Fan. It's really nice that we all have a place to come after the other boards have gone haywire. I like it that we will be able to talk about our Marty love without having bashers and idiots interfere. I'm 41, married, 5 kids (4 boys 1 girl) and love to Rock!!!

Hi. I'm happy to find another place to talk about Marty. I'm Allison, v-streamer, from IDF. When I turned on the first episode of Rockstar INXS, I thought to myself this is going to be cheesy. Then I saw Marty and Suzie talking and I was intriqued. Then I heard him sing and I was blown away. He was my pick from day one. I must say I really miss seeing him on my screen every week and I can't wait to see Marty and the Lovehammers on tour. Like most of you I am an "older" woman, with 3 children, 9, almost 12, and almost 14. We'd all get togther every Rockstar episode and cheer Marty on. Marty made them all Rock fans!

Was enjoying INXS when all of a sudden Marty Casey just came through the screen! I was mesmerized! Don't normally get this way over performers. Going to do all I can to support this amazing guy! Just moved back to Upstate NY from being in Chicago for 18 years!

Dorothy here and I'm in Indiana. Yes, I think Marty is wonderful and I can't wait to get the Lovehammers CDs and the DVD. I listened at their site and loved what I heard. I think that Marty and the band are really going to go far. After seeing INXS on Late Night with Craig Ferguson I'm thinking this has all turned out perfectly... JD is very talented and seems perfect for their band. Marty has his own superstar future in the works doing the kind of intense music he obviously loves. So he won!

Good luck to MiG, Jordis and Ty! I loved them all.

We have been 4 days behind you guys in the US, we just got to see the finale of Rockstar INXS. I have had to stay away from the internet for days so I did not find out the result until I could watch it for myself. All I can say is what!! Is there something about JD that we missed here? Anyone who stayed in bed & did not bother himself to learn my songs would not be in my band. I just though Marty was too good for them. Hi to everyone & I am going in search of other threads here to express my disappointment that Marty, a true star with charisma & talent has been overlooked.
Oh yeah, I am supposed to say something about me..... I LOVE music, and I LOVE MARTY CASEY !!
BTW for those of you not familiar.. Spanner means wrench in England. It seemed like a good rhyme at the time..
