Hey! I'd like to know a little bit about our moderators... who are you? And...are you in any way related to Marty? ;D
Anyway, thanks for setting up this board for us!

Who? Me? Y'all wanna know about me? I was somewhat of an AI fan, but got really excited when I heard about RS:INXS coming on....I'm much more of a rock gal and the cheese on AI stifled me. So I eagerly changed the channel. As posted on another thread, Marty grabbed me during Week 3 with Nirvana and has a grip ever since. I found my way to TWoP and was loving life there in the Kool-Aid Commune. (Mad props and shout-outs to the psychotically clever person who came up with that name!) TWoP was shut down and I divided my time between the boards at RockBand and Snark. During that time I met Cindy and got on board with MC.org. I contribute links, photos, and info to the board (bless her heart, Cindy has to take care of all the techy stuff 'cause it's over my head). I'm also the Lovehammer liaison for the site. I'm 40 - currently single (widowed; hubby was killed by a drunk driver). No kids, just two wonderful furbaby cats. I've had my own business for about 5 years here in the upstate of South Carolina. I'm a rocker at heart with very little tolerance for country or rap. (I make it a rule that if I meet a guy who drives a truck with a gun rack and listens to country music - I don't date him! ) That's me! ;D

Ooh, Amy, you poor thing. You're a rocker girl living in South Carolina. I know how it is. I live in Georgia, where all that gets played on the radio is either rap (because of Atlanta) or country, with only a couple of exceptions. That's why my Marty CD is playing in my car all the time. LOL

Hi this is me. I am the webmaster for MartyCasey.org I am co-owner of a web design firm in Florida and as a hobby do fan sites for things I love. This is my third one....but it is turning into probably my most popular one overnight! The other two I have are for older TV shows...one is for the 1980's TV series Moonlighting and the other for a 1990's TV series Christy that starred Kellie Martin.
This is my first rock and roll/ music / reality TV site. But I fell totally in love with Mr. Casey's performances on Rock Star way back in about the second week... I didn't figure out I was so smitten until about week 6 or so...but there you have it.
About my web design company.... my business partner is from the music industry. He is an ex-bass player for the Allman Brothers Band... he was with the band in the late 70's mid to late 80's. So we have a lot of musician clients and entertainers because of his background.
No, I am not a relative of Marty nor have I ever seen him in person or anything like that. I am just a fan who decided to put whatever resources I could together to promote him. He was THE FABULOUS find of Rock Star: INSX and I just had to do whatever I could to promote him.

Cindy's a fantastic partner in crime! Oh, wait...this is a crime? Then I'm guilty as hell 'cause I love, love, love me some mmMarty music! Marty - if you're reading this, bless your heart. I've pulled out the Nirvana stuff again! I miss Kurt.

(I make it a rule that if I meet a guy who drives a truck with a gun rack and listens to country music - I don't date him! ) That's me! ;D Oh Amy I feel your pain. I just moved from SC a year ago and I thought my ears were going to bleed if I heard country music one more time. UGH .... let me not forget about 'John Boy and Billy' on EVERY station! Satellite radio is your only option if you are to survive!

Amy--I am so sorry about your tragedy. I want to thank you all for creating this great fan site for Marty. Funny, what a small world this is?? I use to live in Upstate South Carolina now I live in the Low Country, mostly because of my job and it is close to Myrtle Beach. I understand what you say about staying away from the redneck guys and country music LOL I actually got mad and quit listening to my station here because they wouldn't play INXS!!!!

Thanks for the kind words. I married young (23) and was a young widow. I made the decision long ago that I wasn't going to "settle" for any man who comes along and thus I'm still single at 40. He's going to have to be a damn near prince for me to remarry!
Small world to those who know the "upstate" of SC! I'm in Spartanburg.

Hi everyone. I'm from Lansing, Michigan. I bought the Lovehammer's CD a couple of weeks ago and it hasnt been out of my car since. I love Mr. Marty Casey and his performances on Rockstar, but had no idea how great his band was also. How do I help to get them appear at the Breslen Center in East Lansing? Also, how can I help to get him on our radio stations? I'm suffering Marty withdrawals and need a fix. Help!!

Thank both of you mods for the great work you do here. Amy, I am so sorry for your loss. In my experience that elusive prince pops up when least expected. Never settle. And he will definately have to Rock because you sure do.
