ingt, I agree, the Lovehammers would go off at the BDO! They will be touring with INXS when the BDO is on next year, but fingers crossed they might get on the 2007 line up. Have you seen the line up for next year, Franz Ferdinand, The White Stripes, Kings of Leon - I wish I could go, but I am already going to the Foo Fighters in December and have to save my money for the Lovehammers featuring INXS tour.

I converted another fan this week. I loaned a copy of the first three performance episodes to a girl at work. She loved the show and wanted to borrow the rest. I asked her who she liked and she said the blond guy! How cool is that? Even I did not notice Marty until a couple of weeks in, I was too busy drooling over bad boy JD. Oh the shame, am I kicked out of the gang now?

i vowed never to go to another bdo after they put the chem bros in the boiler room this year and we couldn't get in to see them. we had a crowd of 32K and the boiler fit 500!!! it was mayhem i say. but since they confirmed franz i gotta go - i'm weak, i know it

LH feat. INXS ROTFLMAO yep so true! i'll have to wait and see how close and how soon the LH play to perth. i'm probably gonna have to save for a sydney gig/stay/shop, i'll go to the states if i have to.

Great to have another Oz fan aboard. Just home from the late shift, now about 2 am. Can't go to bed without having a Marty dose of magic before I hit my pillow!!!

Yes, Ingt, that was me, Mick (my other half) and I were deadly serious about going to Vegas to catch the show there but unfortunately I have show horses to compete with and that is my VERY busy time of the year and that weekend just happens to be one of my biggest shows so like the rest of you guys I will be waiting (very impatiently) til they come down under.

I am just hoping they aren't all buggered by the time they get here as I reckon they will do the south of USA, then UK, Europe, Asia and then Australia last. We may be waiting about a year before they hit our shores!!!

Would rather not see them at the BDO as I reckon quality isn't as good as say Rod Laver Arena or somewhere like that, but if that is the only place they are gonna be I will be there!!

I am trying to con a friend of mine who manages the lighting company that does the lighting for ALL big concerts and events to get me backstage to meet Marty, he hasn't said yes yet, but he hasn't said no either. I will NOT give up until I get my personal pic with my man MC.

Anyway, look forward to many more chats with you guys, I get kinda busy with horses and work so you will have to excuse the gaps in my replies but I promise I will stay in touch as often as possible.

We may have to design or work out our own Aussie Marty t-shirts so we can meet up at the concert and have a great night together. I don't know that I can wait a year to see him, If I win tattslotto I will shout us all over to Vegas to see him, wouldn't that be awesome.
Bugger the horse show, there is always next year!!

No luck yet - not much to work with cos it is like you said "Marty who"? Saw a tiny article in the weekdays Herald Sun about INXS and he who shall not be mentioned - so press is hard to get. I'll keep trying.

In the meantime - let's all go to Vegas and see the show. I'll keep buying the Tattslotto tickets for a group shout - and you work on the t-shirts.

Yep, saw the little newspaper article you just mentioned.
I was at a party last night, at my brothers house, and the music wasn't to my standard. I snuck off to his computer room and had my Marty fix for nearly an hour before they noticed I was missing.

Isn't that bad of me!!!

It was a tri-event party, brother turned 50, one nephew turning 25 and the other nephew off to Canada for a year to teach snowboarding, so it was a send off for him also. I have worded him up on Marty so hopefully he will send any gossip or articles back for me, although I feel at 21 years old he will have other things on his mind!!

Are you gonna buy the RS INXS DVD when it comes out early December?
I am buying it for myself for Christmas altho it will never make it under the tree!

Helen, sounds like you had a good night - hope you had a wine or three for me!!!! I'm about to get my Marty fix on the computer. I do it every morning - bit sad at my age - but I am totally addicted. So wanna go to Vegas and see Marty - going to check out the costs - but I think I'll have to wait for our Tatts funded group tour. C'mon girls - someone win it - I've got tickets for nearly every night this week. Fingers crossed.

Ing - I would die for one of those Marty t-shirts - how fabulous - Marty Made Me Do It - all sorts of images come to mind (sigh dream)!

Helen - I'll buy anything that has to do with Marty - so yep - RS INXS DVD will go under my tree as well.

Fingers crossed for a Tatts win - even second division - we're not greedy eh! Just enough moula for us all to get there and back.

We have a big bonus lottery draw tomorrow night (Thursday) I have bought a ticket for all of us, if we win, Las Vegas here we come!!! Keep everything crossed.

Got my LH CD's in the mail yesterday, played them all night last night at work UP LOUD, as I have the department to myself when I am on nightshift. I think it was the most fun I have ever had at work, the night went so quickly. Just love some of those songs!!

Not bad getting them to me in Australia in about 3 weeks from Chicago, can't complain about the service, someone at the LH website must be mighty busy but is doing a great job.

Still no news in our newspapers and no sign of tour dates down under yet but I am ever hopeful. I am slowly getting more people into MC & LH, I can be pretty persuasive and once they know and love him as we do they are thanking me for turning them on to him. Just such a pity RS INXS wasn't on 'normal' TV here in Australia. Marty would have so MANY more fans.

Anyway, must go, check an a few more threads, feed the thorses and then off to nightshift again with MARTY!!

Bummer about the lottery tickets guys, I think I will try my luck with the trifecta for the Melbourne Cup. I just bought my tickets for the big day out this week. I couldn't resist the lineup. I can't wait to see Franz Ferdinand and The White Stripes. I hope Franz Ferdinand do justice to Marty's song! It's funny, I always loved Take Me Out and now I think I prefer Marty's version, its heaps rockier.

I am glad you got your CD's Helen, I think I will try ordering from their website too. I really want a pink Lovehammers top.

I just wish INXS would let us know when they plan on bringing the tour home. My fear is that they decide to leave the Lovehammers in the US and get Shannon Noll to support them for the Australian tour.

Anyone else hear of the rumour that INXS will be playing at the Arias tomorrow night? Isn't MiG supposed to be performing at the Foxtel party tomorrow night? I don't know which Rockstar INXS alumni to watch out for! Hell, yeah, I need to watch the Arias, hopefully Grinspoon will tell Shannon Noll where to cram his new CD.

Hey Helen - well done with Lucy - way to go girl!!! Will check out the new Marty clip in a moment - gotta get my daily Marty fix. Saw the Foxtel Party on Sunday night and Mig sang We Will Rock You. The whole show was as flat as a pancake and the audience didn't get into it at all. They reckon Foxtel goes into one million Aussie homes - so no wonder people look at you blankly when you do a Marty rave!! On those figures probably only 50,000 plus Aussies tuned into Rockstar Inxs each week. We have heaps of work to do spreading the Marty word. My daugher is now a huge Marty fan - loves Trees and With Arms Wide Open - one more Ausgal to add to our list, and one more plane ticket when we win our Tattslotto Jackpot!

Hi Aussiefan and everyone.

I'm so glad I found a bunch of fellow Aussies. The right kind. ie Marty fans!

I have been an obsessed RS poster (though mostly busy with real life now) on a couple of sites but I'm the only Aussie on my main Marty-friendly one and the other one has pretty much lain down and prostrated itself at the temple of JD.

I'm in Sydney, or rather Central Coast, but originally a Melbourne chick, and INXS fan, now Marty convert. And like aussiefan have seriously considered travelling to the US to catch the tour, preferably Vegas. Am I crazy? Of course I didn't get tickets so I must be kidding myself. But the hope remains that I will eventually find out whether I can wangle a coinciding business trip. And said ticket.

Because the absolute worst thing that could happen to us is for Lovehammers not to tour internationally with BINX. Cancel that thought!
