Hello everybody
I have thoroughly enjoyed coming to this message board to read what everybody is posting. I mostly read the board and do not post very often. I live in Northern California and I have noticed that there doesn't seem to be many California fans that post on this board. (except Jodie, from Southern California?) I read where everyone is from and most of you guys seem to be east coast. I know there are of course fans all around the world, but I was looking for some fans that maybe lived closer to me. So my question... where are my California fans?

I'm probably going to drive to Concord & take BART in and meet my friend Michele there who I met through another board when I had an extra ticket to a taping of RS:INXS...she lives in the city & I don't want to deal with parking. You should consider going that route and meeting up with us. You can't possibly live that close to where Marty will be and not go see him can you?? Hell, I'm flying across the country next month to see him.

Believe me I want to! Thanks for letting me in on your plans... I live in West Marin and it takes over an hour, without a car, just getting to the Bart in SF...Of all the places they could play in the City.... WTF, Oakland?  |

Oakland is definitely NOT a good place to go alone to. Exactly. I work about 3 blocks from the Paramount, and wouldn't want to be down here after dark. It is about 30 feet from the 19th street BART station, though. ~amy |

Hi everyone
Yes, I am going to the Oakland show and I am very excited for it. I live in the South Bay/Peninsula in Northern California.
I love Marty and really miss seeing him on the INXS show.
It would be fun to start a little Bay Area Marty Casey Lovehammer "Club" if any of you are open to it.
Also, another question....
For those who are from CA, are you going to the Metro concert or the Q101 show in Chicago? I want to go but am thinking that Chicago is a weebit too far to fly. I don't know, any thoughts or is anyone going?

I am a norcal native... Born, raised, partied, etc. in and all around The Fat Tomato... ;D Those who know... know...  I left because of college and the cost of living while trying to raise a family <3 kids>... Not sure if I will ever go back tho... But home is home eh? |

 Hey! Yeah! Here is a Northern California fan. I started watching Rockstar because I love INXS, still do, I got hooked on Marty probably the third show or so. He's still TiVoed at this point and I started checking out the Lovehammers to see what they were all about. I love Murder on My Mind, but like an errant parachuter I am still stuck on trees!!!!

Puleeeze for the love all that's hammered get the guys to the big tomato!!! I was born and raised in San Francisco like my parents before me and wound up living outside Sacramento, but it's all good here. Little dusty, little dry...but...I...must say these people can rock!! |

For anyone who is interested: www.ticketmaster.com/event/1C003B5693FA9B14I'm not quite sure what this means, but it seems like tomorrow (10/28) they are auctioning front-row tickets for the Oakland show through the Ticketmaster site. I'm hoping that the "auction" is somehow charity-related...but I doubt it. ~amy |
