Hey guys,
been lurking here since Sept. and enjoying this site very much. I recently began posting and realized I never properly introduced myself.
So here I am, a 37 yr old mom of 2 (10 & 7) from CT. How I became a fan:
Was not going to watch RS - said to husband, "No I refuse to get addicted to a reality show in the summer!" Anyway, had an evening meeting (teachers getting curriculum ready for a new preschool year
) and when I get home, husband is watching the end of first episode, standing mesmerized by the TV. What? I think are there really some talented people on here? Have to admit I watched a couple of painful American Idol seasons.... so I was not convinced it was possible!!
Husband..big music lover..said these people have some amazing talent. And the rest of the summer is history.
Can't remember after which episode I googled MC but ended up here and at LH site. Got MOMM for my Oct birthday from my kids, L'strange and T are wrapped under tree - noticed the tag says "to my #1 fan, love Marty xoxoxox" - silly husband! Gave myself early xmas gift of DVD and I am totally hooked on LH. Guess that makes me a Hammerhead. Hope to see some if ya in CT Mohegan Sun show 2/16. I'll proudly be sporting my LH T and MC.org band.
Of course I will need to hire someone to do the laundry, vacuum, check homework, write lesson plans ;D... as I am drawn to the computer way too much these day!
