plugged in a mini-bar to get us by until the
move......which I hope is soon....

Footy starts this weekend mate - The Blues v Geelong on Saturday night at the Dome. Fingers crossed for a win mate, although it's only the warm up for the real season. Better get your vocal chords into training soonest. Perhaps another cold one *chink*.

Hey everyone,

It's been a while, my god so many pages, so it's off to a new thread after this eh.
No luck with the music shop, they tried to sell it back to me, what a bunch of ********wits. (excuse the language).
Any news I need to catch up on cause I haven't had the time to read the last 12 pages or so.
Congrats Ing on reaching 300. Lizzie too I noticed you hit the 300 as well great guys.
You know Lizzie I love my footy too but I'm an NRL gal, Bulldogs all the way, 30 years of supporting them, but I do have a soft spot for Collingwood, go the maggies.

Well, better go, got a nice quiet day to myself, bit sad though, my pet guinea pig died this morning, I've had her for 5 years, so I was a bit attached.

While I think of it Den, I just got myself a digital camera yesterday so I will get some photos today sometime and pm them too you if that ok.

Just want to clarify again that we WILL STILL HAVE AUSSIE THREAD HERE IN NEWBIES. We are coming to end of this thread and thought that since we are starting new thread anyway, we might as well start 2. The Marty's Bar Down Under in over 18s is for fun, ribald chat and pix --there are a few post-ers in Over 18 who would love to join the Bar but who rarely leave that area... (You guys are gonna love Henry). I think we will likley still mostly be meeting here in newbies. ok? BTW, pm Cindy or Amy if you want to come over to 18+ and don't have that 'status" yet.

Thanks for the congrats on my 300th. Hadn't realised that I'd reached that mile stone - woo hoo.
An NRL girl eh - with a soft spot for the Pies......Lizzie is a true Blue - have followed them all my life through thick and thin...something I'll be doing now with Marty.

Hi deb, sorry to hear about your guinea pig. They do live a long time. I found out the hard way that I'm allergic to them. My kids all got them and I could not even go into their rooms without itching.

Hi chk...hope we get a full sized bar in our new home. The mini-bar isn't working out very well. BTW: Got the Chicago pics CD. Woohoo!!!! Thanks so much. You are awesome. It was nice to get a pic of Liz in Chicago.

Geelong coach Mark Thompson says his team will be doing its utmost to win its NAB Cup opener against Carlton at Telstra Dome on Saturday night, despite the fact that up to 12 senior players will be unavailable for the match due to injury. OMG....12? What happened there? Did they make a smart remark about Marty and Peeks had a go at them?

Hi Lizzie, Chk, Den,

Thanks for you kind word about my guinea pig, she had a good life, I still have all her children bloody 14 of the buggers from over the years they will keep me going. Yes Den I am alergic to guinea pigs myself, I get a rash and sneezing if I don't wash down after feeding or touching them, but I havent got the heart to get rid of them, yes I'm a sook.

I'm gonna pm Amy or Cindy today and see about joining over 18's. I don't venture anywhere else on here I just stick to the aussie thread, so this will be something different.
Just had my cats and dogs bathed so I've got to go and dry them down, yes even the cats they are used to it I started their baths when they were kittens helps with the fleas and they smell nice afterwards.

Here comes the rain, cools things off a bit.

Lizzie don't forget my 3 birds, and at one stage I had nearly 70 guinea pigs, thank god the pet shops took all the babies which left me with about 20 odd and then some died from the cold, once these are gone thats it no more bloody guinea pigs.

I am so loving all the pics, I had to open another file cause there was just too many MC pics, so when I go looking for a particular pic its easier to find them.

hey aussies, so my husband sends me an email (our primary mode of communication) that asks what do i think of cashing in our frequent flyer miles to go to Sydney for Easter vacation with friends of ours who are going. I didn't know how to respond, so I wrote, "cool- but i was hoping to use my miles to see LH when they tour OZ --pathetic but true."
this man might kill me in my sleep... and i can't say I'd blame him.
