Hey everyone, That is so AWESOME that Marty mentioned Trees. Wait til he finds out she has a full brother named Marty, wonder what he'll say then. Speaking of Marty, just took some photos today, he is now 15 days old and just oh so cheeky! Growing very quickly and has gorgeous long legs! He just loves people and demands a pat when you go in to see him, he is my little ray of sunshine at the moment as I have had a very sad week and found everything hard to cope with. Due to my mounting medical and other bills and not being able to return to work for probably at least another 2 months I have had to sell one of my ponies and my stallion, Charles has been sold and is off to New Zealand next week. It is breaking my heart to see him go but I don't have many other choices. Charles is Epics dad and I have had him for his whole life, 9 years. He has just finished serving Cat so hopefully she has taken and will give me a Charles foal next year but nothing will ever be the same without Charles around, it is like selling one of your kids, I cry about it every day. Anyway, I am stoked Marty mentioned Trees again, that did cheer me up somewhat The amount of paperwork and other things that have to be done to export a horse is phenomonal, it has been an extremely busy week getting everything in order for Charles to go. This now means the only man around the paddocks is Marty, since Thommo died and Charles is going to NZ I have no stallion to serve Cat so there won't be any more foals unless I send her off to another stallion which is very expensive. Marty cant ever serve Cat or Trees as they are his mum and sister. So I am even more sad that Charles is going for this reason also. Hope everyone has a great weekend. Cheers, Helen.

Aww Hel that's a bummer. I do hope the new kiwi owners take good care of Charles. Little Marty is a stunner, just like his namesake. Take Care xxxx v

Calling all Asia Pacific/Aussie/New Zealander Fans/hey why not Canada/US too. On the LH Board, slowly people are expressing interest. Please provide me with your name, location, and email address if you truly want Hammerjam Asia to happen in the Philippines. Just send me a PM please. I'd like to do a head count at this stage. I will approach hotels that we'd like to hold a music convention and they will most likely set-up a special group rate if I can show them proof of people wanting to stay in their hotel. If there's a convention happening, it would be easier for me to find sponsors that will pay for LH to come to the Philippines. I just have to put together an awesome marketing pitch. If you can suggest anything to help me make this happen, please inform me ASAP. I need all the help I can get. Thank you!

Ahhh Hel.. That is really disheartening to hear. I'm so sorry. I don't know what else to say.
However, Marty is growing up beautifully. He is the most handsome colt I have ever seen.

Chk hun, I blame that on Marty Seriously girl we gotta catch up again SOON...you hear me, real soon!!! hey there Chi babe. it was uber cool hanging with you! I absolutely love Chicago and i'm bummed that i didn't stick around longer. I coulda bought a nice coat on the Magnificent Mile hehehe! RB! we definitely need to do the hammerhouse II cos I want go back STAT!!! and I certainly couldn't afford to stay at HOB again that's for sure The ho jos was 129 per night and worth about 20 bucks per night. The rooms were so outdated and trashy chitown/rachel- It was only cold Friday night to me, Sunday was really nice out. We went to china town and had a smashing time, riding the train (scary, the girls in the party looked mortified, but I thought it was fun) and we went and ate 200 dollars worth of chinese food and then sang Karaokee, I did Dr Feelgood, Enter Sandman, Sweet Emotion and Hit Me Baby One More Time Marty Style (with a little help from my friends, I cannot hit that high "AND I" part...lol)

Hey RB It looks as if you all had so much fun with Karaoke Sunday night. What a blast.! HOJO was worth about $20/night. .....need any Flea Powder? Oscar could lend you some of his. Hey Helen, keep thinking about Little Marty and how much joy he is going to bring to you. I can't wait to meet his cheeky little self and see lots of pics. I'm still working up my courage for my first taste of Vegemite. I can't wait until we are both jammin' to Robbie Williams live. How cool will that be? Hey Darna, Hammerjam in the Philippines? Wow, that would be awesome to get them over to your side of the world someday. Hopefully they have had enough exposure on the radio stations there that it could happen. Hi Diva, it was great to meet you at HJ. I think we just talked for a second....seems as if we were always looking for Ing or Dani....lots of fun memories for all of us. Hey Ginaing, it was such a blast meeting you too at HJ. Thanks for the link. I'll be getting caught up on everyone's pics and links tomorrow.....so many pics and clips and so little time. A favorite Den memory is just meeting so many people from the different boards. Lots of hugs and greetings. We all do share such a special bond. Can't wait for HJII in Melbourne. There will be lots of and of course and and and Marty Talk ....and more ....and lots of new memories to share. HJ II.....only 48 days!!!! I've got my passport all ready to go. See you all very soon. Den

Hello everyone, Hope your weekend is going good. Helen, so sorry to hear about Charles and your lousy week. Keep your chin up my friend. Think of little Marty, he's really a very cute foal, and hopefully it'll make the pain of Charles' departure a litte more bearable. Den, I can't wait for Melbourne too and hope to do this and and with you and all the Ausgals. Will try do a final roll call and e-mail the group details about the winery tour soon. Oh and about your reservations re: Vegemite...maybe you could alternate between one bite of Vegemite and one bite of Krispy Kreme doughnut. I heard they have those in Oz And don't forget to down it with some Billy tea. Mia, I can give you my details etc but I can only make it to the Philippines or anywhere else between May and August. Have a good weekend all...

Hey everyone, Did you see that DG started an Asylum stable for Trees, Epic and Cat under the LH Fangirls Topic. That is so awesome I love that everyone here loves hearing about my horses, they are the only thing (besides music) that is keeping me together at the moment. Hel

Hey Helen, I loved the thread they started in the Asylum for Epic, Trees and Cat. Little Marty is soooooooooooooo cute. I just got back from voting at myspace. Down to #9. I've changed my Homepage to www.myrockinprofile.com/categories/favorite-music-band-with-label/so that I'd remember to vote. Still having problems with my server on my computer though...ugh. I'll still vote as much as I can. Den

Hey Darna, Hammerjam in the Philippines? Wow, that would be awesome to get them over to your side of the world someday. Hopefully they have had enough exposure on the radio stations there that it could happen. I've asked the band to send whatever videos they have to MTV Philippines. Hopefully, this will help them get more exposure. I work for a tv/radio station now so I could try to get them televised since I've got my own department (made of me right now) in marketing/promotions for both tv/radio.
NEWSFLASH: YES! MCLH DEFINITELY WANTS TO GO TO THE PHILIPPINES. IT'S JUST WHETHER I CAN FIND SPONSORS FOR THEM. THAT'S the TICKET! WISH ME LUCK!!! IF YOU GUYS HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO MAKE HAMMERJAM ASIA A REALITY...PLEASE PM ME. THANKS!GAIA: I can't guarantee that Hammerjam Asia will be May or August. It's all about whether I can find sponsors to bring in the band and also LH's schedule. Let's just hope for the best. The biggest challenge for me is to actually find some people interested enough to sponsor LH. HELEN: Beautiful colt!

Mia, this is great news. I am sure the guys want to play int'l dates. I very briefly talked to marty about it in Chicago and it is indeed all logisitics and $. Please put me down for HJ Asia --you know I'd give anything for a short flight! I'll also put on my thinking cap about sponsorship, etc. xo C
