Great!!!! I'm getting more people to come. I mean, my plan is to orchestrate something that will benefit all. Since I work at a tv/radio station, and will have to deal with getting corporate accounts for our marketing department and my department (I have my own--ain't that cool, eh?--my job is to increase revenue for the company through "text" promos for tv/radio) I will eventually get to meet the big shots of the advertising world in Manila.
Besides watching the concert, I'm hoping us LH fans will have an excursion trip, shoppping, clubbing and do all sorts of fun stuff. If time permits, with the band. Cuz they would have to spend their own money if they stay longer. If I have my own place, and there's enough room, you can stay with me, I also offered Den. If I really have a big place then the entire band and the offshore hammerheads that are coming can all stay with me. LOL! I wish! Won't that be a blast! Mia's Hammerhouse!

that brings this to mind, Mia --it's worth talking to the Philippine Tourism Authority/Board about this too. This is good cross promo for band and tourism, I would think...

Amazing, amazing news! I've succesfully gotten MCLH a TV time slot to show MCLH videos. I am the head of my own marketing department which focuses on creating tv/radio "texting" promos. So, I'm gonna use the MCLH promo stuff the band and other fans have sent and will give them as prizes on RJ TV. This is so great for MCLH because this is gonna be their first telecast in Asia! I work for a tv/radio broadcasting company in the Philippines. I'm a marketing/events person. One of my major responsibilities is to create promotions for both tv/radio.
I am offering ALL MUSCIANS who play POP ROCK, CLASSIC ROCK 'N ROLL, MODERN ROCK, LATIN POP, JAZZ POP, BOSSA NOVA, & COUNTRY POP to submit an original CD to me and I will review it. If I feel that your kind of music is something we will play on the radio then the next step would be for me to take it up with the station manager. If he approves, then we can communicate how you can send promotional items like more CDs, T-shirts, magnets, pens, stickers, buttons and etc. to market yourself in the Philippine music scene.

Yes, a "real" video would be nice. I'm just lucky that my position at work allows me to think of all sorts of crazy things. I mean, I'm only on my 4th day and I've managed to get MCLH on our TV slots the 2nd day of work. Right on!
RJTV will be giving away MCLH prizes through our TV game shows. RJTV will also be the first Asian station to feature Marty Casey and Lovehammers. This is only one channel here but better than anything. Not even the US or Canada has done something like this. Go, Go, Go, Ale, Ale, Ale!
My next goal is to hold an international rock fest in Manila and bring MCLH. Ya! (But I first have to concentrate on my job and make good there)
Let you all know when MCLH will be televised on RJTV Philippines.

Re HJII: Melbourne can't wait to catch up Den, Gaia, Hel, Lizzie, Peeks, Ingt and everyone else who can make it! Jet and I are planning to catch the plane down together and be there with bells on.
Re scrapbooks. I have orders from many of you for your copies to be mailed, and I'm planning on getting a batch out this week. So anyone who wants one now order via my scrapbook webpage (see my siggy) before Wednesday.

Ing, I've got your pics sent as well now that I have your new address. It is so exciting that you are finally moving into your new house. hey everyone,
not much to report but thought I'd revive our down under thread, which seems to be quiet these days. My excuse was a trip to Guilin China (see chk travelling gnome thread) am back feeling quite ill and with a family that has become vegetarian. (You wouldn't believe just how fresh the chicken is in China --and don't even think of ordering rabbit.)
it's gonna take us a while to recover!
Hope you're all safe and sound. Do you think Peeks is chasing marty 'round hawaii???

Hey everyone, Sorry have been AWOL for the last couple of weeks. It has been a really tough time for me with a few issues. As you all know I have sold Charles, (my stallion and best friend) and it has hit me hard to not hear him neigh to me everry morning when I walk out my bungalow, I miss him so much and still cannot talk about his sale without breaking down in tears. I hope his new owners in New Zealand love and appreciate him as much as I did and still do. I have been sick and back in hospital with more blood clots in my left leg and only came home yesterday. New drugs and more drugs and then follow up tests next week to see if the clots have dispersed or I will probably have to have surgery to remove them as they are stubborn and VERY painful.  Little Marty has been sick and is still not yet recovered, he is on daily medication morning and night. It is like comedy capers seeing me on crutches trying to shove a big syringe full of medicine down a foals throat twice a day. I won't put any new photos of him up until he is better and has put on more weight. I think today he has turned the corner and is hopefully on the improve, will keep you informed.  Am sooo looking forward to HJII, it is the only positive thing ahead for me at present and I am counting down the days till December 7th when Den arrives and then Dec 9th when we all get together for the day and night. Trees and Epic are both really well and as soon as I can I am gonna give them a bath and good brush as they are still fluffy ponies with half winter coats and half summer coats, then I will take some new photos for you guys of the 2 girls.  Thats about it for now, hope everyone else is OK. Have a great weekend everyone. Lots of love to all as always, cheers, Helen.  |

SO glad you posted today. I am worried about those clots. Is there some kind of exercise or something that can help your circulation so they don't form? This is really worrying. Of course, I am asking you about exercise knowing that you are hobbled --above all follow doctor's orders! Sorry, too hear that little Marty has been under the weather -- but remember, we think of him as Glenene Courage. He will come thru with flying colours, I am sure!
Please take extra care of yourself and him! Hey Peeks, spot Marty in his swimmers there in Hawaii, mate? Look for the very skinny, pale guy sipping Margaritas all the live long day....Last, I will share teh pic of me and marty taken by the fangirl we all aspire to be, Jodie. One look at my face and you know how I'm feeling about the whole thng... unfortunately, Marty looks bored! ;D

Ga' Day everybody Well mission accomplished Potlatch is over and we're all really happy with the out come  First a big Hello to Helen... Good to see I wasn't the only one not posting for a couple of weeks. Poor you and little Marty under the weather again. Hope the doctors get things under control for you sweetie If they don't Den will!!! Just having her around for a couple of day will uplift the old spirit   Den... I just know your going to have a kick ass time with our mates!!! Coooooo Weeeeeee you must just be busting to get over there and have a go at the true Peeks brew ;D ;D I'll be expecting full detail report pleeeeeese Chk.. you a bloody trooper with all your support of travel!!! Me thinks you missed a big chance to lay a good wet one on Marty if you think he looks bored in your first picture with him.... Dang I hate when that happens... so thanks for the heads up on remembering to seize the moment when I meet the Blondie God... Making note to self..... if Marty looks the least bit bored 1) Have hand ready to sneak around Marty's booty and give soft/sturdy squeeze. 2) Have location focused on to go in for the kiss of his lifetime ;D ;D ;D By the way.... as Pauline sees it from Canada here... you are the Asian Jodie!!
