Just stopping by for a quick Howdy!!! I'm in the middle of packing. Have to head out in about 4 hours, drop off Oscar (my dog) and then to the airport. I've been trying to get a cold so it's been Vitamin C/Airborne

Maybe I should see a doc...hmmm...I wonder if Suzie 's doc takes appointments on such short notice...





but I have a feeling once I land in Melbourne the with all the sun and fun I'll be waaaaaaaaaaaaaay toooooooooooooooooooo excited to be sick..

Wow it feels like ages since I logged in... I even forgot my password

Well I should explain my absense. Last couple of weeks Tiger has been fighting a really strange high temp that progressed into a horrific cough... it was also his last week of school (last week). I managed to get him to school for his last day and the Christmas pageant but took him straight to the doctors afterwards because someone had mentioned measles to me as he had a rash over his chest. Well we've spent 4 nights in hospital with pneumonia caused by measles!!! I spoke to the GP every day and she said don't bring him in, just control the temp and as long as he eats and goes to the toilet he should be okay. OKAY NOT

Hey Lise,
SO HAPPY you dropped by. Don't worry about about missing the girls because we expect FULL REPORTS from them constantly. In fact, we should have set up some sort of streaming connection to Oz!
I hope your son is feeling better. What an ordeal! I had to deal with my daughter having Influenza A once -- scared the hell out of me. And another time my son broke his foot but because there was no swelling or bruise I kept telling him to suck it up and walk it off! That was the year I won Mother of the Year --it made all the papers.

Thanks for the cat heads up. He is defintely demented, I'll say that! I feel quite bad for him -- I need to keep banning him from certain furniture and rooms because he can't be trusted, and of course that's making him nuttier. I have a feeling this is a preview of what life with my husband will be like in a few years! ;D (i kid, really.)

Glad you all have contributed to decor. I'll get back on it (I almost wrote back on the job, but that means something entirely different) as soon as I can.

G'day mates,
Wooohoooo!!!! I made it to Australia and it is absolutely beautiful here. Lots of blue sky and sunshine. Helen and Mick have spoiled me rotten. They've taken me around Melbourne and St. Kilda. Helen has showed me around the farm. Trees, Little Marty and Epic are even more beautiful in person. Epic and Little Marty are so friendly and love to be patted. Trees is a bit shy and loves to be scratched. Trees mane and tail looks highlighted and is gorgeous. Epic looks the most like the real Marty with long blond hair and absolutely amazing blue eyes. No pics yet....well, except Ing you know me..I took a pic of one of the many awesome bakeries. Yum!!!!

We had lunch at a great little restaurant during our tour of the city. We drove by Telstradome where we will be seeing Robbie Williams in a couple of weeks. I had my first (and not last) Aussie beer I believe it was Crown Lager. I'm going to go watch Helen feed the horses now.

See ya Ing, Dani, Sozl and Jet tomorrow night.
