SOZL! I GOT MY LH SCRAPBOOK! THANK YOU SO MUCH! YOU MADE MY DAY! You did such a phenomenal, wonderful, bodacious, outrageous, awesome, and magical job on the Australiasian Fan Scrapbook. Reading everybody's heartfelt  compositions brought tears to my eyes  . I know! It's heart-warming stuff, ain't it? Amy I sent yours late cause I haven't been at home to collect my mail for ages. Should be there soon. Peeks, of course I'll bring a batch down to Melbourne. So there'll be plenty extra if anyone wants more copies, and for Lizzie and Lise. Anyone not going to Melbourne who wants one let me know. Deb, for some reason I can't find a record of correspondance you sent about the scrapbook, unless I imagined it. Mia, wishing you well with your new business. You are so determined and driven, so I'm sure you'll be successful! Gaia, good luck with your last minute studies. I'm sure you'll need the rest. I just got some very sad news today. K-lite 103.5FM Manila's Lite Alternative will no longer exist by December 2006. They have been around for 10 years but management decided to change the station's format to an EASY LISTENING one.
Klite Manila was the very first station in the Philippines to ever play an MCLH song. Trees became number 1 for four straight weeks
on K-lite's Top 35 Weekly Tally. Marty, Billy, and Bobby got their first
Philippine radio interview here.
I thank DJ Ron for being the first DJ to give Marty Casey and Lovehammers a chance to be heard in one of the coolest stations in Manila, January 19, 2006 (TREES). DJ Ron was also the first DJ to ever interview Marty Casey in the Philippines. DJ Ron was also the one who let me talk about MCLH 5 times Live On Air. Special thanks also goes out to one of my favourite DJ's, DJ Vito for interviewing Billy and Bobby on the Morning Brew Show. Thanks to the cool Newscasters Anjanette, Janice, Micki, and to the rest of the former K-lite Crew. Finally, thank you Nigel, Program Director of K-lite, for being the force in putting TREES on K-lite's playlist, making history for Marty Casey and Lovehammers.

G'day there mates, Thanks so much chk, Trees and Chitowngirl for the heads up on all of the news/posts/recordings and videos here lately.  Things are happening so fast here. Wow, when I read Marty's post below I got a bit teary eyed (happy tears). I too can not believe the "unique bonds" we have made  and wondered myself so many times why and what brought us all together.  It has been such a treasured shared experience. The crazy ride continues when I head for Melbourne on Tuesday. I think Marty is describing all of us. I think that you all see something that you see inside yourselves that you want. The thought of the man that understands your crazy mind. The song lyrics tell a story that you have been through. We are all looking for the answer and find it in the least likely places. Most would say, "Come On, that guy from the Rockstar reality show". But, when I look back I don't even know why I was there either.
What is the purpose of all of us coming together? Why is it such a strong bond? I have talked to others that have been through the identical experience but why is our bond so uniquely different? Freaks me out at times. Well, I am gonna believe in it cause every time I have doubted it, something has come back and slapped me in the face.
Why are we all so strong minded and on the same page at the same point in time? None of us have ever done this before...
Marty Casey Hey Mia. That is too bad about Klite. I'm glad you had a chance to thank everyone there. They were really a good station. Hey Trees, I'm expecting snow tomorrow...only 1-2 inches though. I hear Europe can use some of your snow. They have had to cancel quite a number of ski competitions due to lack of snow. Good ol' global warming. Woohoo!! Helen can't wait to meet you and Mick at the airport. I'll try not to give you too big of a hug.. .don't want you to bruise. Blood too thick...now too thin? You can't win....but, you sure can have fun... It is a little weird to be having snow here and thinking about packing Spring/Summer clothes. Beyond your gifts as a songwriter and performer, you've been given the opportunity to redefine what it means to be a rock star and we're all just here to help you do that. so true cherrytattoo... and because of Marty we have discovered a uniqueness in ourselves and redefined our own attitudes as to what a 'rockstar' really is. 'Our' rockstar...he looks into my eyes as he greets me in the line after the show and in that moment I am his and he loves me... then I walk away, smiling, happy, basking in the warmth and light he gave me...and it will stay with me for days, weeks...forever as I move away, he smiles and looks into the eyes of the next fan, and in that moment he is theirs and he loves them... 1st day of Summer girls and this time next Friday night we'll be getting ready to meet in the hotle lobby... watch out Melbourne here we come!Ing - I downloaded the new song from Aussie iTunes as soon as I saw your post...thanks for that  I love it! I haven't seen the video yet...bloody freezes on dial up, I'll have to get my butt to town and use the broadband pc's in the IT shop (a big downside to life in the country-no broadband) upside...all the guys in the IT shop know who LH are and like them Peeksy I saw your top 8 bulletin on myspace...and you are absolutely right mate - I'm more than reliable in the getting my mates  and in trouble stakes you can count on it I just love Marty's latest blog, 'The Art of Falling'...maybe I should tell him that while checking out his oh so hot pics over the past year...I can now gracefully land on the floor with a much softer *thud* although I am still working on how not to slip over in the puddle when I try and get back up! Gael - my academic mate...I got my final grades for the semester...two credits  (not my best ever effort but still not too bad) I hated the law subject so I'm actually quite pleased with my result. Four units to go and I'm out  Sozl - have you had enough time to recover from the ineloquent westie bogan yet... enough to share a room with her for three nights?!?!?!? I can't wait to see you again girl  LMFAO...when I was in Byron a few weeks ago for a girls night out, I walked, tall and steady - well almost - from the restaurant, down the stairs to the street, (we had drank our way through 20 bottles of champagne and many many cocktails). Someone yells at me..."Spot the Westie chick...no shoes" thats the secret gals...take your heels off (or blame it on the slippery floor). Den - luv ya...thats all I can say see ya soon Helen - SNOW PATROL I saw and heard them for the first time at Splendour and I was blown away. They are absolutely awesome live. I've have only just started really listening to the CD and I love it...I've had it since July but I'm kinda like ttat, save things for later. Trees I enjoyed out little PM fest the other day  I will remember to keep your cup full...oh my...does that mean I will be drinking twice as much? Hello lovely ladies of the Aussie Thread!
I can't have Velvet or any song that's not part of a current album played on radio stations. It's not how it works. CD must be current to be eligible to played on the radio. If I owned the station, I would have a MCLH marathon every so often--but I don't have the money to put up my own radio stations as much as I want to. I'm sad about Klite 103.5FM. A lot of them lost their jobs. I just hope they found one already.
My Street Teaming focus right now is to get MC's X'mas song heard on the radio in the Philippines again. The next agenda is to follow-up with MTV Philippines if they've already receive the VH1.com and when it will be televised. Then once Out of the Gutter is out, I will have the band submit them to MTV Philippines and MYX Music. If the X'mas Video done in time for broadcasting, I will have him submit this to the two music stations as well.
My project to bring the band over or just MC is on hold. MC wants me to concentrate on
helping to get his X'mas song on Philippine airwaves first. He's my boss you know....gotta follow Mr. MXC. LOL. Kidding...he's not my real boss...Then my next campaign is
the Out of the Gutter video to be televised.

oh dear, I have been such a big ol bore lately --no time to play on the boards and posting drab general messages to boot. Tried to send messages on myspace to everyone but horrible problems on computer, so apologies to all who didn't get one! I don't think I can get it all perfect now, but let me do some James Joyce-like stream of consciousness posting now so you guy know I am thinking of you! Jet -- my question to Marty was so dorky, but I love that he answered and that the answer is so funny. In fact, so many of his answers intrigue me. The book he suggested is one of my all-time faves and I am just dying to know if he almost peed himself reading the Easter Bunny chapter or if that's just me! Peeks -- on myspace bulletin you asked if we kissed. I can't believe you don't remember!!! I never thought of us as a one-Hammerjam-stand but if that's how you want to play it!!!! *storms out in huff* ;D Den, omg omg omg it's almost time. Don't worry about the layover, you'll be fine. go stretch your legs, get some decent food and buy some trashy mags for the journey! And count your blessings -- you're so tiny, you probably actually have enough leg room! Mia, my dear, SO sorry I have not been able to catch up. Glad to hear that u have been in touch with Bossman and that ur working on Xmas promo. It's too bad that K-Lite is going easy -- I for one will never forget the stories about DJ Ron!!! Oh, and don't forget the DVD is now officially called "the rest is history". I am so glad they changed it! Oh Chi, I’m really digging the Chrissy tune and the vid….it’s brilliant! Thanks for the heads up on Marty’s new blog too chk, bloody entertaining read that! Hey everyone, Just a quick drop by post to say have a great weekend everyone. Good news with my leg, can now mostly manage to get around on one crutch or walking stick so the strength is starting to return.  It has taken alot of hard work and still along way to go but at least I am now finally seeing some improvement for all the hard times.  Have you Aussie guys noticed that Throw It Away by Toby & Juke Kartel is the new song for the Telstra TV commercial, pretty cool hey Watched Getaway (holiday related TV show) on Thursday night and for all you ladies staying at the Alto on Bourke Street they featured the hotel and it looks very nice. It has it's own restaurant, why the heck didn't we just book in to eat there on the Saturday night, would've been so much easier than having to get to Lygon street which is impossible to find parking and always so hectic. OK, off to do some housework, gotta get the place looking noice for Den when she stays over  Little Marty is coming along beautifully and has now settled down a little, not such a demon with his biting now that his teeth are through. Teething is always a bad time for foals, they love to nip at you. chk, lucky you getting your question answered and thanks for your myspace post. If Marty doesn't answer my question within the next couple of weeks I am gonna have to show name Marty myself as he has to be registered before Christmas, if I get the paerwork in any later I won't get his paperwork back in time for my foal shows I want to take him to in April/May. Anyway, I'm off, catch alot of you soon, in person, gonna keep playing Merry Christmas AYL while I do my housework, Love that song and the video, downloaded it from Aussie iTunes the day it was available. I am sooooooooooooooo out of it. I just saw that the Aussie thread now has a sticky. Now that I think about it , it may come in handy in case there is a wee bit too much of the ol'  goin' on next weekend. Hey Mia (aka Darna) let me know if there is anything I can do to help when I get back with song requests etc. to the remaining radio stations in the Philippines to promote the new Christmas song. If we can get the new song heard there and the video shown that would be so awesome! We will miss you next weekend. 
Helen, the Eskimo Joe winter scarf you sent me has come in REEEEEEEALLY handy with the freakin' windchill we had over the past few days. Chicago got hit pretty hard (hope you are staying warm Chitowngirl) as did the Pacific Northwest (hope you are staying warm too Trees). Soooooooooooooooo needless to say I am looking forward to the hot temps in Melbourne.....which is a good thing since Jet seems to have a problem with keeping her shoes on...(those whacky Westies.... ;D) Can't wait! Hey Den and everyone else, Time is geting near and hanging out for HJII. Den, Glad EJ scarf has come in handy, I just put mine to the back of the wardrobe for storage as so hot here now, summer has really sprung onto us with hot and warm days already and bushfires everywhere, thankfully none in my area. OK, off to do horsework and housework, catch you all soon and to everyone else that couldn't make it we will take lots of photos and stay in touch on the forum. only y101 cebu fm will play xmas song. wont' be able to get copies in time for jam fm and nu107 fm. i won't even get copies of xmas song cuz mc is too busy to send. have to get from dan. no copy of video either. i don't have good access to internet so can't view it on youtube or whatever else. so, i won't be doing promotions for the song this year cuz i just don't have copies--the resources.
