i won't be pursuing a business of my own. i also won't be attempting to get a hammerjam asia going at this time. too many obstacles. most producers i've talked to slam LH for not being a big hit yet. i thought i could produce the concert, but again, slapped with a lot of bureaucracy just to bring them in by the corrupt Philippines government. Some producers they are more willing to bring marty but most having given a proposal. another dead end.

yes, i'm aware having your own business is also hard. so...i'm just gonna do whatever for now...i really don't know anymore.

mia, you sound a little depressed...we didn't mean to pour cold water on your ideas. I know how you feel cos I was in a similar position years ago. Well they say when life hands you lemons, make lemonade. Easier said than done I know. Maybe it's time to just chill out and recollect your thoughts. Connect with what you want out of life and go from there. Most important, always have faith in yourself and tell yourself, nobody and nothing can keep me down if I chose to be positive. I love love love Yellow Tailed Cockies...I have a gang of them here on my property too, although we aren't in drought here on the north coast they don'tstrip ourtrees, but they certainly let you know their around the noisy buggers. I was fortunate enough last year to have spotted two uber-rare Glossy Black Cockies when I was doing a field study of the wildlife in Boonoo Boonoo National Park (Tenterfield, NSW). Only another bird lover would get how excited I was to see them

SOZL! I GOT MY LH SCRAPBOOK! THANK YOU SO MUCH! YOU MADE MY DAY! You did such a phenomenal, wonderful, bodacious, outrageous, awesome, and magical job on the Australiasian Fan Scrapbook. Reading everybody's heartfelt compositions brought tears to my eyes .

Sometimes I get so caught up with the bad and crazy stuff that happens in my life, that I lose sight of the beautiful things that are already present in my life. Having Marty Casey and Lovehammers as my friends. Especially Marty. Who would have thought I would befriend a ROCKSTAR as beautiful and special as MXC! He's brought such joy and passion back in my life--it's beyond words. Though I've already written a few poems about him It's been a real pleasure to also get to know Dino (he always makes me crack-up and laugh), Bobby, Billy, and Dan the King of the roadies.

With all the setbacks in my life lately, actually most of my life, but hey nothing's perfect--I realize that I'd rather hold on to the good things. I've made some real good friends being part of MCLH. Den, Chk, Shelly (though she doesn't log on here much), Radioclash, Jet, Angelshadow (how I wish I'd hear more from these three) and starting to get to know INGT, peeks, gingerpyle, Gaia and other hammerheads on the LH.com board as well. Friendship is Golden. I thank all the people here who have been so kind to me.

Ing, I'm certainly counting down the days, HJII is gonna be the highlight of my year, we are having beautiful weather now and hopefully it will be just as warm on December 9th for our winery tour day. I can't wait to hear in person from you, peeks and Den how Marty was in 'real' life

Den, my gorgeous Indy mate, got OUR Robbie Williams tickets in the mail today. We have AWESOME seats, front row on the first level, probably only 30-50 feet from the stage, the only people who will be closer will be the standing only tickets on the grass right in front of the stage but with my leg I couldn't go for those tickets. I am so looking forward to the concert with you.

Also got tickets to see Snow Patrol which I love, and got seats in the second row from the front. Yippee, that is gonna be a great concert in February next year

Have had a really good week this week with no extra health problems and some good fortune finally coming Micks and my way concerning $$$ so I am not so stressed about bills etc now for awhile. The great seats at 2 awesome concerts has also boosted my spirits.

Horses all very well, would love some rain down here, we are as "dry as a dead dogs donger" as the good old Aussie slang goes. Our dam is completely empty, you can walk from one side to the other without any chance of getting wet and things don't look like improving on the horizon.

trees, mate, please do a rain dance and send some of that Canadian rain down to Oz, we would love you for it It is great to be chatting again on the email, have missed you

Anyway, thats about it for me, gonna have a nana nap as hydrotherapy and docs appointment have worn me out this morning.

I haven't been to the new mc.org homepage but looking at the drool-worthy background to this message board is a hint of the great things I'll be seeing when I eventually mosey on down to the homepage. Cindy, Amy and all the mods are doing such a wonderful job.

Jet, thanks for all the encouragement. Seriously, 2006 has been a crazy and not so fantastic year for me. This second semester is a lot tougher and I really need to sit down and re-evaluate how I can have a better study-work-family life balance. Need hubby to win the lottery so that I can cut work out of the equation LOL! We have a semester recess in Dec but a new semester starts in Jan. So my next real break will be May-August.

Helen, how's little Marty coming along? You're so lucky you get to see Snow Patrol! I love them. Hubby and I have "Set the Fire to the Third Bar" as our cellphone ringtone. I'm so sad that they are not coming down to Singapore, Malaysia or Hong Kong. After HJII and my Vietnam shopping trip, those are the only places I can probably afford to go to.

Ing, Jet, Peeks, Lise, Den, Helen...I am counting down the days to the ol chinkety chink chink. Errr I may doze off during the jmma jam juma party...remember I would have been on my feet for more than 24 hours I think by then...but no worries, just slap me awake with the red pillow pic and I'll be awake in no time!

I have real good connections with huge corporations, relatives, friends, or family friends being on the "board of directors". I don't have a lot of money to begin with--JUST MY GUTS. I will be able to make everything happen if I'm able to find sponsors.

Hi y'all,

Contacted MYX Music Philippines and they accept DVD/Beta Cam Pal submissions from any band. So, of course, MCLH can send their stuff to this TV station. I already informed the band that they can.

Since the DVDs won't be available until X'mas time, then I estimate that it will be next year, that MYX Music will get a chance to audition MCLH's latest DVD compilation for viewing. I'm sure they will televise it if I have anything to do about it :shock:

At least, it's not just MTV Philippines but the other main music station MYX that will have the privilege to show their videos.
